Inside and outside Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch

Sitting right in the main Suwon Station Rodeo shopping district, the accessibility was really great!! It's about a 5-minute walk from Suwon Station, so it's an easy place to meet up with friends or go on a date without any hassle haha.

How many people fit in a private room at Manseokjip?
Unlike a typical bar, Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch is a large-scale bar made up entirely of private rooms, with room sizes for 2, 4, 6, 8, and up to 10 people. That makes it a great spot for everything from a couple wanting a quiet drink together, to friends meeting up, blind dates or meetups, and even company dinners or group gatherings — you can pick the room size that fits.

For reference, the room fee is 2,000 won on weekdays! Considering you get to spend time comfortably in a private space, that's a really reasonable price.

It's not just the rooms that are great — there's a wide variety of side dishes too, which made choosing fun! We ordered the Korean beef gopdoritang (spicy chicken and gopchang stew) and cha-dol beansprout stir-fry that day.

What we ordered at Manseokjip

They brought out the basic side dishes and our drinks first.

As we chatted comfortably in the room, the main dishes came out soon after haha.
Beef brisket and bean sprout stir-fry, 16,900 won

First, the cha-dol beansprout stir-fry, where the savory beef brisket pairs really well with the crunchy beansprouts, making it a great match for drinks!!

If you like meat dishes, this one's a safe bet you'll enjoy. Side dishes really matter at a bar, and I loved that Manseokjip has such a wide variety to choose from based on your taste.
Korean beef gopdoritang, 26,900 won

The gopdoritang lets you enjoy gopchang (beef intestines) and chicken together, making it perfect for drinks. Since it comes with broth too, it's nice and warm, and with so many ingredients packed in, it's great for taking your time while drinking.

With rice cakes, glass noodles, gopchang, and chicken all mixed in, there was fun in picking through the different ingredients.

The gopdoritang broth was so good we couldn't resist ordering rice!! And when we did, they topped it with a slice of Spam, which every Korean loves. This kind of small touch made me quietly happy haha.

Can you play games in the rooms at Manseokjip?
The rooms at Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch also had a kiosk with all kinds of games available! It's a great spot to catch up with friends over good side dishes, and also perfect if you want a drink somewhere with a nice atmosphere. If you're looking for a Suwon Station bar that's easy to get to, a private-room bar for privacy, or a Suwon bar with great side dishes, come have a comfortable drink at Manseokjip!! haha
