Wanting a bit of a refresh, I went to Lash Doll's Munjeong branch, known by word of mouth as one of the best spots in Munjeong-dong for eyelash extensions and lash lifts, and came out with doll-like eyes.

My lashes are on the longer side so I only planned on a lift, but after a proper consultation with the director we added LED under-lash extensions and I walked out with genuinely the best doll-eye look of my life ✨ Here's my review of a comfortable, satisfying lash lift and extension session in Munjeong-dong.

The director was really bright and friendly!

The treatment bed was neatly kept and there was a separate consultation space too — the director had such a strong professional presence that my expectations shot up before the treatment even started ☺️

What happens in the one-on-one lash design consultation

Lash Doll isn't a place that just applies one uniform design — the director carefully checked my usual clothing style, makeup routine, and even the purpose of the treatment (date, event, interview, etc.), running the consultation almost like image consulting!

I originally only wanted a lift on my upper lashes, but the director looked closely at my eye shape and lash condition and said that since my lashes are long, the curl from the lift would look great, but adding a bit of under-lash extension as an accent would give a much more luxurious, doll-like look haha. She mentioned the under-lash treatment uses LED lash extensions with better hold instead of regular glue, so I decided to go with her recommendation 👏

What the LED under-lash extensions and no-glue lift felt like

Since it had been a while since my last lash treatment, I was a little worried my eyes might sting, but honestly, I didn't feel any foreign-object sensation the entire time 🥺 They use KC-certified glue and follow a root-protection principle of attaching about 0.3mm away from the root, so there was zero irritation haha. The lash lift was also a no-glue lift, giving a perfect curl with no damage.

The director's touch was so comfortable that after chatting a bit at the start, I ended up dozing off without realizing it, and when I woke up from a deep nap, my doll eyes were already done 😴💕

The upper lift alone gave my eyes a brighter, more open, defined look, but adding the under-lash extensions made my whole face look way more three-dimensional and dramatic 🤍
