In short
The Hanoi Foot & Body Songpa Garak Branch is a premium therapy shop in Songpa, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Garak Market Station. With shoulders and back knotted up, the writer booked the 60-minute Relief Care dry sports massage, which starts with a foot bath and warm tea before the therapist works along the muscle grain to release the tension. My shoulders and back have been so knotted up lately that I desperately needed a proper massage, so I made my first visit to The Hanoi Foot & Body Songpa Garak Branch, known as a premium therapy shop. Bottom line up front: best massage I've ever had! Not exaggerating — genuinely, out of everything I've had in Southeast Asia, this place takes the top spot.

Where is The Hanoi Foot & Body Songpa Garak Branch, and what are the hours?

Inside the shop: info desk and foot bath zone
The moment you walk in, the info desk sets an upscale tone. Ring lighting softly illuminates the brand logo, and a display case beside it neatly showcases the products used in treatments. The white tones with wood accents make the space feel like a hotel spa!

On one side is a foot bath zone with gold fixtures as the accent. Comfortable bench cushions and plush pillows let you soak your feet before the massage even starts.

Here's why this shop is legit — Son Heung-min actually visited this massage shop! Framed autographs from singer Lee Jung-hyun, Son Heung-min, and coach Son Woong-jung hang on the wall.
I already had a dry sports massage booked that day, and seeing this got me even more hyped before the treatment.

Next to that, a water dispenser and hand-washing area are set up neatly. Care products lined up beside the sink showed a real attention to detail.
Private massage rooms and what you wear for a dry massage

You walk down a calm, tidy hallway to your assigned treatment room. The treatment rooms at The Hanoi Foot & Body Songpa Garak Branch are each separated into private rooms, so you can focus fully on the treatment.

Inside, the soft lighting and clean bed setup made it easy to lie down and relax right into the massage. Really clean, comfortable facilities — very satisfying!

Before the massage, you change and store your clothes in the locker like this.

Since dry massage is a sports massage received while clothed, they give you an outfit like this — short-sleeve top and shorts. It's light and comfortable, like workout gear.
The 60-minute Relief Care course, from foot bath to dry sports massage

The 60-minute Relief Care course starts with a foot bath before the massage itself.

While soaking your feet in warm water, they bring you a warm cup of tea. As your feet loosen up, your whole body slowly starts to unwind!

To finish, the therapist washes your feet clean. Felt great, though it was a little bit embarrassing haha

Then the main event begins — the 60-minute Relief Care dry massage. It was insanely good.. wow. The therapist's skill was no joke. They worked along the muscle lines, and it felt like they knew exactly where the tension was and exactly where to press.
Just pure bliss.
I asked because the therapist seemed super experienced, and apparently this shop doesn't even hire people without a long track record. That explains the precise, satisfying hands.. The pressure was strong too, and I could really feel the knots releasing. Walking out afterward, I felt like I could float.
The powder room after the massage

Finally, there's a nicely prepared powder room you can stop by after your treatment.

An arched entrance leads to a softly lit mirror, and hair ties, lotion, a comb, and even a hair dryer are all stocked, making it easy to fix your hair and makeup after the massage before heading out. This kind of detail really shows why this is a premium shop.
Is the Songpa dry sports massage worth it?
This was my first visit, and I was fully satisfied with the facilities, service, and skill. The therapist's skill especially was on another level — I texted my mom to recommend it the second I walked out. I'm definitely rebooking with the same therapist! Also worth noting, there's a 30% discount for first-time visitors, so I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for strong, satisfying pressure.
I was very happy with the dry massage I got this time, but the therapist mentioned the aroma oil massage is also soft, hydrating, and great, so I'm thinking of trying an oil massage next time haha. Confirmed: this is a legit massage specialist in Songpa.
