A review of fitting my farsighted mom's glasses at an optical shop specializing in high myopia.

My mom's farsightedness is pretty severe, so this time I wanted to get her glasses properly fitted, and we looked around before landing here.

What stood out most on this visit wasn't the frames — it was the vision exam process.

They ran a Zeiss Profiler exam followed by an iTerminal 2 exam, and explained that the glasses are fitted taking posture and lifestyle habits into account. Watching my mom's exam up close, it clearly wasn't a one-and-done check.

After the initial exam with the cutting-edge equipment, they rechecked and ran a final exam — three times or more in total — to carefully confirm the prescription.
