Group room café in Juan, Incheon: 2 hours, 60,000 won at Tiny Dot

The weather was nice so I wanted to enjoy some leisure time at a café, and it had been a while since I visited Tiny Dot, the large café in Juan. This is actually one of several revisits — I fell for it the first time I came, and it's still my favorite café in Michuhol-gu.

Where is Tiny Dot, and is there parking?

Tiny Dot is a large café on Juseung-ro 96beon-gil in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, sitting right on the main road where buses pass heading from Hagik-dong toward Jinheung Apartment! Here's what the exterior looks like.

True to its status as a large café in Juan, it occupies a standalone building and there's parking space in front too. But I always just walk there. It's so nice to have a large café like this close to where I actually live.

The trees were freshly green when I visited, which made the atmosphere at this large café in Juan even more charming. The 1st floor has the counter and kitchen, the 2nd–3rd floors are the hall seating, and the 4th floor is the group room.

Tiny Dot's hall overall is modern but with plants placed well, so it avoids that tired feeling indoor spaces sometimes have. The seats are spaced far apart, which makes it good for quietly reading or working alone too.

Weekday afternoons at this café are truly the best! For reference, it does get busy here on weekends.

Inside the 4th-floor group room: reservation only, 60,000 won for 2 hours

While picking out my order I briefly went up to Tiny Dot's 4th floor, which only takes reservations! You can use it like a rented space — 60,000 won for 2 hours — but they don't actually charge a rental fee. Instead, if you reserve and order 60,000 won worth of food and drinks, you get to use the whole space. A large café in Juan good enough for meetings with quality snacks.

Coffee roasted and desserts baked in-house, Hadong matcha ground on a stone mill

At Tiny Dot, all the coffee is roasted in-house and all the desserts are baked in-house. Even the matcha latte apparently uses Hadong matcha, and I saw it being ground live on a stone mill right there. Overall, the quality of both the coffee and desserts is quite impressive.

Dutch coffee and drip bags made in-house were also displayed on one side. Coffee lovers would really enjoy receiving these as a gift.

Even for someone like me who doesn't know much about coffee, the aroma at this Hagik-dong café, Tiny Dot, felt wonderfully fragrant. Mmm — it's the kind of scent that puts your mind and body at ease.

Flourless Basque cheesecake at Tiny Dot

And this is the Basque cheesecake I eat every time I come here — the owner guarantees the quality of the ingredients, haha. Apparently it's a Basque cheesecake with no flour in it. Perfect as a diet food, right? I got this one to go and ate it at home, since I was already too full at the café...

What we ordered: croffle, iced Americano and Orange Dot

So what did I order? Something light — a croffle and an iced Americano, plus Orange Dot, the signature menu item of this large café in Juan, Tiny Dot! Such a thoughtful café — there was even a little table in front of the elevator inside for setting down drinks and desserts, and a shelf-like tray holder inside the elevator itself.

The good thing about coming on a weekday afternoon is that the café is quiet, so you have plenty of seat choices, haha. I settled into one of the charming round tables.

The crispy, sweet croffle came already cut into easy-to-eat pieces, so all you had to do was pick each piece up. Fresh out of the oven and still warm, it went really well with the coffee!

How does the Orange Dot, orange with coffee, taste?

And this is Orange Dot, one of the signature menu items at this Hagik-dong café, Tiny Dot — a combination of orange and coffee. Just reading that might sound strange, but it turned out to be a surprisingly refreshing and smooth combination.

The bright orange flavor at the bottom pairs really well with the smooth latte on top. Following Perilla Dot, this has become another favorite menu item of mine at Tiny Dot 💕

Tiny Dot in Juan, Incheon: the verdict

Tiny Dot, the large café in Juan, seems genuinely serious about specialty coffee rather than just ordinary coffee. It was a pleasant coffee time on a weekday afternoon.

All drinks get a 1,000 won discount for takeout. You can enjoy high-quality coffee for less than what franchise cafés charge. If anyone visits this neighborhood, this is the first café I'd want to take them to — Tiny Dot, the Michuhol-gu café where you can always enjoy a pleasant coffee time, no matter when you go.
