Greenhouse seating and truffle crab pasta at Mokushura Table, Heyri
In short
Mokushura Table is a European dining restaurant on Heyri Village-gil in Paju, Gyeonggi. Sitting in the ground-floor greenhouse, the writer had truffle crab pasta (₩24,000) and basil pesto chicken risotto (₩23,000), in a space with an elevator, a diaper-changing table and a kids zone that makes it easy for the whole family. It is a Heyri restaurant she would confidently recommend to anyone asking.

Heyri Village in Paju really is a great place to visit, full of good food spots. The place I'm introducing today — spoiler alert — I genuinely, highly recommend it!! My husband and I had a time so magical it felt like we'd taken a trip to Europe.

An exterior like a grand European mansion

This is the first post I've ever written with this many exterior photos, haha. It was just so beautiful — like being invited to a grand mansion in Europe? If you come to Heyri on a cool autumn day, this is a must.

What is the signature greenhouse seating like?
On the first floor there's Mokushura Table's signature greenhouse. The ceilings are high and it's floor-to-ceiling glass all around, so the sunlight was gorgeous, and the fountain along with the huge, ornate chandelier felt fantastical.

Family-friendly dining facilities
True to its family-friendly dining concept, Mokushura Table has an elevator inside, so strollers and elderly guests can move around easily. And honestly, it made things easy for me too, haha 😆

The 3rd-floor terrace looks out over Heyri Village — open and airy, but without losing any of that upscale feel.
There's a thoughtfully placed infant diaper-changing table on the 2nd floor, too.
Mokushura looks like it might be too sophisticated for its own good from the outside, but it's also a place with real warmth — giving a 15% discount to soldiers, police officers and firefighters who serve the country!! Even better 💕
The annex library has books ready, so you can enjoy some peaceful time reading, too.
By the window there's floor seating, set up as a kids zone where you can relax comfortably with children.
We took a seat in the greenhouse and took thousands of photos, haha.

What we ordered
Chicken basil pesto risotto ₩23,000, truffle crab pasta ₩24,000, San Pellegrino ₩4,000

After ordering, we walked around once more to look at the interior.

A crisp, clean sparkling water

Crab truffle pasta — my husband loves truffle oil, so he ordered this.

Basil pesto chicken risotto

How did it taste?
It was fresh pasta, so the texture was great, and the lobster was plump and fresh too. The savory umami of the truffle oil was really appealing.

The chicken thigh came out whole, crisply grilled — the meat quality was so good and the portion so generous it was really filling.
The house-made pickles even included radish greens, and they were so crisp and refreshing that I went back for a second helping.
Can you bring kids here?
Every time I came to Heyri Village I thought about trying this place, but somehow I felt like it wasn't a place to bring kids, so I came with just my husband this time — but it turned out to be family-friendly dining where the whole family can comfortably enjoy European food. If anyone asks me to recommend a restaurant in Heyri Village, I'll confidently recommend Mokushura Table 🫶
