Seogwipo bakery café with roomy upstairs tables: Forest Jeongbang

While traveling in Jeju, I stopped by Jeongbang Waterfall and went looking for a café to rest at for a bit, and ended up at Forest Jeongbang. It's right near the waterfall, so it was easy to combine sightseeing with a café stop, and true to its name, the place had this lush, green Jeju vibe that made it easy to relax.

Glass-walled exterior after touring Jeongbang Falls

The exterior of Forest Jeongbang felt clean but also had that relaxed Jeju atmosphere. The glass walls let in nice sunlight, and on a good-weather day it looked like a great spot to sit and take in the surrounding view. I was a bit tired from touring the waterfall, but stepping into the café's calm atmosphere made me want to just sit down and rest.

1st floor bakery case, grab a dessert too

The inside of Forest Jeongbang is mostly wood-toned, so it feels warm and comfortable! The 1st floor has a variety of desserts and baked goods, so rather than just getting a drink, I'd recommend ordering a dessert alongside it too.

2nd floor seating, window sunlight, and ocean view

After ordering and heading up to the 2nd floor, the tables were generously spaced and the whole place was kept clean, making it a nice quick break during a Jeju trip. The sunlight coming in through the windows was especially pretty and made for good photos too.

Ice cream croffle and Aurora Lemonade

The ice cream sitting on top of a crisply baked croffle looked delicious just from the visuals. The combo of warm croffle and cold ice cream never fails. It was perfect with coffee when I was craving something sweet. The Americano cut through the croffle's sweetness, so I was glad I ordered it too. When you're out walking and sightseeing all over Jeju, your blood sugar can crash, and this combo was great for exactly that moment 😊

🍋 Jeju Aurora Lemonade

The color alone made it impossible not to take a photo. It had this aurora-like feel with hints of blue and purple mixed together, which matched perfectly with Jeju travel photos. It's lemon-based so it's refreshing, and it went well with the sweet croffle too — great for cooling off on a hot day. If you're someone who loves pretty drinks, this is one worth ordering at least once 🍋✨

Jeongbang Falls → Forest Jeongbang course review

Forest Jeongbang is a great stop before or after touring Jeongbang Waterfall for coffee and dessert. The interior was comfortable, the outdoor vibe felt very Jeju, and having easy menu items like croffles and ades to enjoy while traveling made it satisfying. Pairing Jeongbang Falls with Forest Jeongbang as a course seems like a great way to enjoy a bit of downtime during a Jeju trip.
