Jeju Airport black pork restaurant with a free soft tofu stew: Pork80
In short
Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch is a black pork restaurant in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, that charcoal-grills Nanchuk Matdon, a native Korean pork breed. On the last day of a Jeju trip, two diners shared one 600g plate of Nanchuk Matdon for 72,000 won and received a free sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew) through the restaurant's review event. Staff grill the first round for you and the meljeot (fermented anchovy dipping sauce) has no fishy edge, so Pork80 is an easy choice on a day you don't feel like grilling yourself.

Isn't the area near Jeju Airport the first place you think of, whether you're starting or wrapping up a Jeju trip? I visited Pork80, a spot known both as a Jeju Airport black pork favorite among tourists and as a black pork sanctuary trusted by picky locals in Jeju City. It's only a 10-minute drive from the airport, so it's super accessible, and on top of that it delivers real local-approved taste and service. Here's my honest review of Pork80!

Nanchuk Matdon black pork at Pork80, a spot featured on Choi Ja Road
There are countless black pork restaurants in Jeju City, but the reason Pork80 stands out even among locals comes down to the breed it serves. This place specializes in Nanchuk Matdon, one of Korea's finest native pig breeds, going well beyond ordinary black pork. It's already been featured on Choi Ja Road, a foodie-verified mecca, so it's a Jeju Airport black pork restaurant I can confidently recommend.

The black pork is charcoal-grilled, which gives it an extra clean, savory flavor.

Even at an awkward weekday hour, look how many customers there were! As time went on it got even more packed — it really is a Jeju Airport black pork restaurant that's famous among locals.

This is a Jeju black pork restaurant that grills the meat for you! There were tips posted around the place for eating it the best way.
Side dishes, seasoned raw crab and meljeot with no fishy taste
I ordered one plate of Nanchuk Matdon (72.0) at Pork80. Since I'd made a reservation, the side dishes were already set up when I arrived!

On the small plate there was matcha salt, wasabi, and ssamjang (dipping sauce), plus perilla leaves, scallion shreds, corn kernels, radish salad, pickled onion, napa kimchi, and seasoned raw crab, haha.
Seasoned raw crab at a meat restaurant?! And it's actually delicious too.

A bit later the meljeot came out too. Meljeot is an inseparable partner when eating black pork, but a lot of people hesitate to try it because of its distinct fishy taste (I'm exactly that kind of person). But Pork80's meljeot completely shatters that prejudice. There's not a hint of fishiness — instead it's savory and salty with a spicy kick, and dipping the meat in it makes it insanely delicious.

One 600g plate of Nanchuk Matdon for 72,000 won: enough for two
One plate of Nanchuk Matdon is 600g for ₩72,000. Apparently Nanchuk Matdon has much better marbling than regular pork, so when grilled it gives you rich juiciness along with a soft, chewy texture at the same time. 600g was plenty for two people! One bite and the chewiness of the skin side blends with the moistness of the meat, and the savory flavor just explodes.

They set the charcoal first, then bring out all the meat. Look at that color, isn't it amazing, haha.

Staff grill the first round of black pork over charcoal
At Pork80, a staff member grills the first batch perfectly for you. Since it was my last day of the trip, I was hesitant to visit any restaurant where I'd have to grill the meat myself, no matter how good it was. But here, since an expert grills the meat to lock in the juices while you just sit and receive it, it's the easiest and most delicious way to enjoy Jeju City black pork.
Don't miss the free review-event sundubu-jjigae
If you visit Pork80, don't ever skip the review-event sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew). The main meat and side dishes are already perfect on their own, but with a simple review you also get a spicy, rich sundubu-jjigae as a free extra. Served bubbling in a stone pot, it's spicy with deep broth flavor, playing the perfect role of cutting through the richness of the meat. Definitely take part in the review event!

Since the staff grill everything for you, you can eat in total comfort. I'd also recommend this as a black pork spot for a Jeju family trip.

Once cooked, the meat gets placed on your small plate, and true to Jeju style, dipping it in matcha salt made it even more delicious!

They grill chives and mushrooms along with the meat too, and since an expert is doing the grilling it tastes even better — the juiciness is no joke!
Dipping it deep into the meljeot brought out so much savory flavor that I skipped the ssamjang and salt entirely and just went all in on the meljeot.
It's also great wrapped in lettuce. The side dishes that go with the meat were so plentiful and well-matched that my chopsticks never stopped moving.
One bite and the chewiness of the skin side blends with the moistness of the meat, and the savory flavor just explodes.
Eating it with chives dipped in meljeot was the best combo — the chives' fragrance cut through the richness of the meat, making this a genuinely clean-tasting Jeju Airport black pork restaurant.
Is Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch worth a last-day meal?
