Gimhae Korean restaurant: perilla gamjatang near Costco

I went to Gimhae Costco for the first time in ages🛒 After shopping, I was sooo hungry..🤤 I wanted something hearty, so while looking for good food near Gimhae Costco, I found this great spot in Yulha, Gimhae~~✨✨ It was seriously such a proper good restaurant👍🏻

Ppyeodae Itneun Haejangguk, a Korean master’s restaurant

The original post said it is a 10-minute drive from Gimhae Costco, open daily from 06:00 to 21:00, with parking available in front of the restaurant. Haejangguk (hangover soup), gamjatang, pyeonyuk (sliced boiled pork), and seasoned raw crab, too!!🤤

There were lots of menu items, but of course the signature dishes are gamjatang and haejangguk! The haejangguk comes with or without bones separately?! Boneless pork-bone haejangguk...? I need to try that next time🤤

Today’s order: two-person gamjatang and sotbap

• Two-person gamjatang à la carte
• Sotbap (rice cooked in an individual pot)

Today, keeping it simple?! I ordered the à la carte two-person gamjatang🤤🌟

There is also a menu called “Daega Hansang”! It is a real full-table meal with an à la carte dish, garlic-skin pyeonyuk, and seasoned raw crab together!

Today I wanted to focus on the gamjatang, so I went straight for the à la carte gamjatang~~🏃🏻🏃🏻♀️ Honestly, even the à la carte order was already sooo generous..🤤✨✨ It came right up when I searched for places near Gimhae Costco! It is only 10 minutes away, so it is perfect for popping over after a Costco run🌟

Gamjatang piled high with perilla seeds

I especially looove it when gamjatang or pork-bone haejangguk has perilla seeds in it, you know??!!🧂🧂 This was exactly!! my kind of gamjatang🤤✨✨ There was a heap of nutty perilla seed powder on top🥹

The meat comes fully cooked, so once the broth starts bubbling a little and the mushrooms and glass noodles cook through, you can take out the meat and eat it first >.< The savory, rich broth was honestly the best🤤

Tender meat that slips right off the bone

But this meat.. was seriously.. tender! There are so many times when you eat gamjatang or pork-bone haejangguk and cannot be bothered picking the meat off the bone, right?? But this meat just separated by itself!!

Like thisss!!!!!🤤🤤✨✨✨ I thought, “I should take a photo of the meat~!” and then the meat just went whoooosh and fell off..🍖🦴 Hahahaha honestly, even betterrr🤤🤤

And there were loads of the glass noodles I love, too🤤 Gamjatang without glass noodles??? 🚨I am reporting it🚨 So yes, I officially recognize this as a gamjatang place with the fundamentals!!👍🏻

Sotbap made to order

I guess I cannot live without sotbap now..🍚 You can add sotbap separately! They make it fresh as soon as you order, and it is ready in 7 minutes! It is extra warm, and even the final scorched-rice tea is.. just the best..🤤

The meat was really substantial..🍖🍖🍖 There was so much meat attached to the bones that this was gamjatang you could eat to your heart’s content🤤👍🏻👍🏻 The broth was sooo rich that while eating gamjatang, I felt like I was recovering from a hangover..🤤

Free ramen noodles and side dishes

An even more amazing fact!!!!! The ramen noodles are freeee!!!✨✨👍🏻👍🏻 You just take them from the self-service station~~🤤 Ah.. a restaurant with real bones..🦴🍖🦴

Self-serve ramen? How could I resist..🤤 If you run low on broth, make sure to ask for more stock!!! We added some halfway through too haha. Anyway, ramen noodles in gamjatang are the best👍🏻 No wonder it is a Yulha favorite~~??! Haha

Suddenly, it is time to brag about the side dishes haha. You should know that the side dishes are great too.. hahahaha. Even with an à la carte order, pyeonyuk came out?! It was perfect as a little taste! And the kimchi here is fantastic;;;; I refilled it twice..🤤🤤🤤

A spacious, comfortable interior

The restaurant was really spacious and comfortable! It was convenient because each table had a tablet for checking the menu and ordering. There were private room spaces too, so it seemed great for group work dinners or family meals! More than anything, a delicious place from a Korean master..🤤🤤👍🏻 I was so happy to find such a tasty gamjatang and haejangguk spot nearby🤤✨✨✨

Anyway, so I ate until I was bursting again today! I really meant to have fried rice, you know? (I went in absolutely determined.) But I was too full and could not eat it..🤤 The portions were generous, and I had properly delicious gamjatanggg🍖🍖🍖
