Gangnam Station set menu with corn gnocchi and vongole: Brivit

Long time no restaurant review haha. Today's post is about BriBeet, a piping-hot new hotspot near Gangnam Station!!! I had plans near Gangnam Station and was frantically searching where to go, saw a photo of the gnocchi and thought, this is it! and ran straight over.

Result: total success! The vibe and the food were both so perfect ㅠㅠㅠ

Where is Brivit Gangnam Station, and how far is it from Gangnam Station Exit 11?

BriBeet sits between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station!! It's on an alley packed with restaurants and cafés. Come out of Gangnam Station Exit 11 and head up the CGV alley — you'll spot it on the right!

It's about a 5-7 minute walk from the station so accessibility is great too~ The building's pink exterior catches your eye right away, so stylish. The hip energy hits you the second you walk in.. this is definitely a hotspot..

What comes in the Bribeet Set? Two mains, a salad and a drink

Ugh ㅠㅠ everything looks delicious ㅠㅠㅠ everything looked so good I agonized 100 times over what to pick .. so to taste a bit of everything I ordered the 'Bribeet Set'!! You pick 2 mains, 1 salad, and get a drink — such a perfect combo 🖤

• Corn gnocchi
• Vongole
• Tomato salad
• 2 drinks (cider, cola)

So that's the order we went with haha.

There's a cute little bell set on the table, and when you shake it a staff member comes over to take your order!!! Such a nice touch~~ 🖤

What Brivit Gangnam Station feels like during the day

I was so surprised how great the vibe was… I must have been to N number of Gangnam restaurants and had no idea a place this good existed ㅜㅜㅜ Fitting the atmosphere, I felt myself calm down too ^..^ Wood tones, warm feel, and the sunlight streaming in was truly perfect…🖤 If I'm ever looking for good Western food in Gangnam again, I could come back to BriBeet a second, third time ㅜ!!! I bet it feels totally different in the evening too~~ makes me want to come back and see!!

The self-bar at Brivit: free pickles and phone charging

There's a self-bar where you can easily grab pickles and even charge your phone. Great for when you're snapping a storm of food photos and want to leave your phone charging~

These little thoughtful touches really got me.. I love details like this so much 🖤

How is the tomato salad? The yogurt sauce makes it

The tomato salad came out first~~ and its looks alone were unfair.. red cherry tomatoes, fresh basil 🖤 and a soft yogurt sauce.. probably because there were slits cut into the tomato skins, the sauce soaked in so beautifully ㅠㅠㅠ I was moved… why is the yogurt this delicious? If it's a salad like this I could eat it every single day!!! Every day ✨ Sweet and tangy, it really perked up my appetite, absolutely perfect as a warm-up before the mains ㅠㅠ

Why Brivit's corn gnocchi is worth the praise

And now the moment we've all been waiting for — the corn gnocchi... this is genuinely insane… I understood exactly why reviews were raving about it the second I took a bite..

Thick, creamy sauce with golden-seared gnocchi nestled in — crispy outside, unbelievably chewy inside, a total work-of-art bite... The sauce itself is loaded with the sweetness and nutty flavor of corn, and kernels burst here and there while crispy bacon bits deliver a salty kick, so there's genuinely no chance of getting sick of it. I let out approving noises the entire meal x100000. Of all the gnocchi I've had recently, this was genuinely the best ever, ,,

The vongole, an oil pasta we finished to the last bite

The vongole, an oil pasta, absolutely did not lose out to the gnocchi…!!!!!

It catches your eye right away with the plate piled high with fresh clams, and thanks to the clam broth, the oil sauce comes alive with a clean yet deep flavor..🖤 The noodles were cooked just right, springy and chewy, and the arugula and sharp black pepper on top cut through any greasiness from the oil, letting me finish the whole plate cleanly to the very end ~.~ If you're looking for a Gangnam restaurant with a great vibe and food you can count on, I absolutely recommend BriBeet 🖤..
