When you're heading out for a picnic in Jeju, you don't really need to pack your own lunch box anymore haha. The weather's cooling down too, which makes it perfect for the beach or a park.
I was craving sushi and was looking up good spots near Jeju Airport, so I ordered takeout from Jejju City Hall Branch. This time I got it to eat at home, but once I opened it up, the set-up was so clean and tasty that I thought, "Next time I could just pack this up and take it straight to the beach!" haha
I'll show you exactly what I ordered and why I ended up thinking of it as my next Jeju picnic lunch box the moment I tasted it :)

I just stopped by quickly for takeout, but it seems worth knowing about if you're looking for somewhere near Jeju Airport to pick up a lunch box or sushi.
It especially seemed like a good spot if you're heading straight out somewhere from the airport, or moving toward the coast and want to grab food to go.
What's the store atmosphere like?
Since I was just picking up takeout, I didn't actually sit down, but the store overall looked clean.
Even though it's mainly a lunch box specialty spot, it looked like it'd be fine to eat in the store too!

The menu had more variety than I expected, from lunch boxes to rice bowls to sushi.
The lunch boxes tend to come with a clean, tidy composition, so it might also be worth a look if you're searching for premium lunch box options in Jeju City.
A lot of the lunch box menu items had salmon in them, and there was a reason for that! The salmon color was seriously amazing — I'll show you in the food photos below!
I'd had my eye on the Seogwipo lunch box + half-and-half shrimp sushi since I started looking at reviews, so that's what I ordered!
The honest review once I opened it up
The first thing I thought when I opened the packaging was that the composition was seriously clean!!
Seogwipo lunch box
What I liked about the Seogwipo lunch box was that it wasn't just sushi — it came with a webfoot octopus rice bowl too! Eating sushi and then taking a bite of the slightly spicy webfoot octopus rice bowl, the combo worked really well together haha
Rather than just eating sushi the whole time, having a spicy kick in the middle was something I really liked about this set.
Can you see how springy the salmon looks?! It was really springy and thick, seriously delicious!!
Half-and-half shrimp sushi
The half-and-half shrimp sushi that I ordered alongside it after seeing it in reviews! I figured the Seogwipo lunch box alone might not be quite enough, so I added this — and I'm glad I did. It didn't overlap much with the Seogwipo lunch box menu-wise, and eating them together made for a much heartier meal.
Can you see how springy the shrimp is!? Just like the salmon, the shrimp was thick and springy too, so tasty haha
Would this work for a group order?
Since everything comes packed individually in its own lunch box, it looked convenient for a few people eating together too!! I haven't placed a group order myself, but it seems worth checking out for anyone looking into group lunch box orders in Jeju or Jeju City.

Final thoughts
I ate at home this time, but next time I'd like to try eating it outside. The sushi is easy to pick up piece by piece, and the packaging was clean too. So it'd be perfect to bring along as a Jeju picnic lunch box when heading to the beach or a park!
With the weather cooling down, next time I'm skipping the homemade lunch box and just picking up takeout from Jejju City Hall Branch on my way to the beach haha
