Tteudon Magok Branch is a pork cutlet place on Gonghang-daero near Magok Station, a quick drive from Gimpo Airport. It had been a while since I'd been out to Incheon and Seoul ~~ my husband said he wanted pork cutlet, so as soon as we landed at Gimpo we headed straight to nearby Magok!

Where to park at Tteudon Magok Branch: enter through Queens Park 12
Parking for Tteudon Magok Branch is at the Queens Park 12 lot. It's free for 2 hours, and to register you just tell the owner your license plate number after eating.

The parking lot is Queens Park 12 ~~ it's written in big letters out front, so check carefully before you park! Honestly I got confused and pulled into the parking lot of the building next door before backing out again. If you're reading this, save yourself the gas and the time 😂

Coming up from the parking lot by elevator, you see the Tteudon Magok Branch sign right away. Weekday lunch (10–2 pm) gets ₩1,000 off, but too bad, I came on a weekend 🥲 From this sign, walk straight in and the restaurant is at the very back! The second photo is a sign set up near the restaurant. Apparently Tzuyang has visited too, so I was excited (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Weekend lunch at Tteudon Magok Branch: the room and where the meat comes from
Tteudon Magok Branch was clean and spacious. I visited a bit before noon on the weekend, and there were families around — of course, kids love pork cutlet ~~ The origin labels were clearly posted too. Domestic loin cutlet, domestic kimchi! The kimchi was really tasty too, no surprise ~~

Ordering on the table tablet: hot pot pork cutlet and kimchi udon set
You order right from your table using a tablet. Each table has a card explaining how to build your own pork cutlet burger, and it's also shown on the tablet screen. Don't skip the Naver review event!! You get a free soda or cheese balls ~~
The menu had all kinds of pork cutlets, pastas, sets and more, so it was hard to decide 🥲 I heard the soybean noodles are good too... After much deliberation, I picked what I was craving that day! Today's picks: hot pot pork cutlet and the kimchi udon set! And somehow I ended up choosing spicy for both haha

Free self-bar at Tteudon: cream soup, tteokbokki and udon broth
The self-bar at Tteudon Magok Branch is right in the middle of the restaurant. There are hamburger buns for making pork cutlet burgers, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), udon broth, and — essential with pork cutlet — cream soup ~~ I went while waiting for the food.

The difference in how much pepper we each added to our soup was hilarious lol. My husband loves pepper and went all in. Cream soup is always a win ~~ warming up the stomach slowly, getting ready for the pork cutlet to come 😌 The tteokbokki had a solid classic spicy flavor. The udon broth was just a good basic warm broth too.
How does the hot pot pork cutlet taste? Corn cheese tames the heat
The first dish, the hot pot pork cutlet (₩13,900), arrives bubbling away 🔥 The menu listed it as spicy so I was a little worried, but there was so much corn cheese piled on top that it wasn't spicy at all.
It had just a slight kick and a bit of sweetness. There was also cabbage soaked in sauce layered underneath. I'd ordered it thinking of Ukuya's (formerly Younine) spicy hot-plate pork cutlet, but where Ukuya leans more chili-forward, this one had more heat up front with a sweet finish. Funny how similar preparations can taste so different.

Kimchi udon set at Tteudon: don't miss the two dumplings
The kimchi udon set (₩14,900) comes with a classic pork cutlet plus kimchi udon. The cutlet was really crispy and cut into big pieces, so following the table instructions, my husband made me a pork cutlet burger — the bun, veggies, and cutlet all went really well together.

The kimchi udon was so refreshing and fiery ~~ I didn't have much of an appetite that day, but the broth was so refreshing I kept eating anyway lol. The udon noodles were cooked just right, and it was packed with fried tofu pouches, which I love. Then near the very end I discovered there were 2 dumplings hiding in there! We were both full but decided to split them anyway — they were seriously flavorful, amazing dumplings!! (🥟do not miss these🥟)

Kids' playroom and the ice cream self-bar
Inside Tteudon Magok Branch there's an actual kids' playroom, plus plenty of baby chairs. The playroom is right by the entrance as you walk in, and right next to it is an ice cream self-bar!!

For dessert, there are both indoor cups and to-go cups so you can eat it inside or take it out. And there are 4 flavors!! (chocolate, yogurt, strawberry, green tea) I went with a clean green tea 🍵 My husband chose strawberry and yogurt 🍓🍦 The green tea was a bit bitter and sweet, right up my alley. I also tried a bite each of the strawberry and yogurt — the strawberry was more refreshing, and the yogurt tasted closer to rich milk!

Is Tteudon Magok Branch worth a stop for pork cutlet near Gimpo Airport?
The men's restroom is right across from the entrance, and the women's restroom is by the elevator.
The restaurant is very spacious and clean, it's close to Gimpo via Magok, and parking is easy — great spot to visit (Seoul Botanic Park is nearby too!). I love sauced dishes so I really enjoyed the hot pot pork cutlet and kimchi udon, while my husband loved the classic pork cutlet with kimchi udon. Now I'm curious about their basic Western-style pork cutlet too. A textbook pork cutlet chain where you can eat well and cheap!! Plus a self-serve salad bar and dessert on top ~~
