I visited Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch because I wanted black pork near Jeju Airport. While deciding where to eat black pork on this Jeju trip, I settled on having Jeju black pork somewhere close to the airport. To give you the conclusion first, the Nanchuk Matdon I had that day was so much better than expected that I was really satisfied!!!
How do you get from Jeju Airport to Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch?
Hours are 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM, and parking is free for 3 hours. It is in Nohyeong-dong, which is convenient to reach from Jeju Airport, so it felt like a great place to stop for a meal on either the first or last day of a trip. I especially thought the route would work well when you want Jeju black pork before heading back to the airport.

You do not park directly at the restaurant building; you need to use the separate parking lot provided for the restaurant. The lot is at 25 Wonnoyeong 3-gil, Jeju-si, and is right nearby. You park in the nearby public parking lot and receive a parking ticket, but be sure to ask for it when paying! If you visit assuming there will be parking right in front of the restaurant, it can be confusing, so it is good to know this ahead of time.

Restaurant atmosphere and amenities
When I stepped inside, it had a slightly retro feel, and everything was generally clean. Rather than the busy feeling typical of a barbecue place, it had an atmosphere where you could sit down and enjoy a comfortable meal.

The restaurant is spacious, so I think it would be nice for a group visit too!

Having a restroom inside the restaurant is such a plus! Even the restroom interior was clean and pretty. They also had mouthwash available.

They say you get Jeju ice cream for leaving a receipt review. It seemed like the perfect dessert after the meat~

Utensils, cups, and so on are provided at the table.
Nanchuk Matdon price and what I ordered

Nanchuk Matdon costs ₩72,000 for 600g. It is Pork80's signature menu, so I chose Nanchuk Matdon over the other options this time.

I like having a wide variety of banchan (Korean side dishes) with meat, and Pork80 was great because it offered many sauces as well as fresh kimchi, shredded scallion salad, pickled perilla leaves, dried radish strips, onions, and more. They even had a separate guide on how to enjoy it :)

What the staff-grilled Nanchuk Matdon tasted like
Six hundred grams of meat is just enough for two people to eat until full. When you order Nanchuk Matdon, the staff grill almost all of it for you, so you can eat comfortably~!

From the moment the meat went onto the grill and began cooking, a rich, nutty aroma rose up and got me excited. And when I actually tasted it, it was far more delicious than I expected!!!

The things I value most when eating Jeju black pork are the flavor and texture of the meat itself. Nanchuk Matdon had a deep meaty flavor when I chewed it, yet it was not tough. I especially liked that the fatty portions were rich and nutty without being overly greasy. It was the kind of flavor that naturally made me keep reaching for the next piece after one bite.

Pairing it with matcha salt and mel jorim
Once the meat was cooked, they placed it on a hot plate, so I tried it with matcha salt as the guide suggested.

Mel jorim (braised small fish) also comes with it, and they told me it is not salty, so you can dip the meat in it or mix it into rice.

I dipped it with the grilled scallions too, and eating it with rice was another special treat, haha. The Pork80 Nanchuk Matdon I tried this time was truly delicious. With its convenient location near Jeju Airport and satisfying Jeju black pork, it is a place I think I will remember when looking for a good restaurant near the airport. If you are looking for great black pork in Jeju-si or a barbecue restaurant in Jeju-si, I recommend ordering the Nanchuk Matdon~!
