Family lunch at MooDoo, a pasta restaurant in Cheomdan, Gwangju
In short
MooDoo is a pasta and wood-fired pizza restaurant on the 2nd floor of Yastec Tower in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju. On a weekday lunch with her own parents and family, the blogger ordered the arugula steak pizza at 22,500 won, the steak galbi cream risotto at 19,500 won and the shrimp rose pasta at 18,000 won, and even her mother, who rarely eats Western food, cleaned her plate. With baby chairs and 3 hours of free parking, MooDoo works well for a family meal.

Kkomulmom's family visited MooDoo, a pasta restaurant in Cheomdan, Gwangju that she and her husband had actually been to before!
Where is MooDoo Cheomdan, and what are its hours?

Is there a wait at weekday lunch? Booking and the Tabling queue
Kkomulmom visited on a weekday for lunch and there was no wait at noon, but even on a weekday there were quite a few people, so I'd recommend booking ahead through Naver Reservation or using the Tabling app for remote waitlisting or walk-in registration.
Inside MooDoo: baby chairs, open kitchen and the room
The interior was spacious and cleanly decorated, so it seemed like a popular spot for gatherings or dates,
and baby chairs were available too, so it seemed like a good place to visit with a baby.

MooDoo also has an open kitchen, so you can see the food being made, which made me feel even more at ease.

What's on the menu at MooDoo Cheomdan?
MooDoo's menu includes brunch plates (soufflé pancakes) and pizzas,

pastas and risottos,

and eggs in hell, salads, and steaks were all on offer too, so the menu was pretty varied,

and you can order easily using the table-side ordering system.

What we ordered at MooDoo and what it cost
Kkomulmom ordered rocket steak pizza (22,500 won), steak galbi cream risotto (19,500 won), and shrimp rosé pasta (18,000 won).

Arugula steak pizza, 22,500 won
Kkomulmom's favorite rocket steak pizza (it has rocket/arugula and cherry tomatoes, so it's never too heavy — always a safe bet).

It's a wood-fired pizza made with handmade dough fermented at low temperature for 24 hours, and the dough was so chewy that dipping it in the accompanying sauce was delicious.

Steak galbi cream risotto, 19,500 won
The first time trying steak galbi cream risotto. I expected a regular cream risotto, but it's marinated in galbi (short rib) sauce, and the sauce wasn't heavy at all — it was so good I kept thinking about it.

Shrimp rose pasta, 18,000 won
The shrimp rosé pasta had a thick, rich sauce that was delicious, and with shrimp in it, it's another dish that's tasty every single time.

Parking at MooDoo Cheomdan: 3 hours free at Yastec Tower
✅️ Parking information
- Yastec Tower basement parking — free for 3 hours with parking registration! (Watch out — the Mirchae River Park parking lot sits right next to Yastec Tower's, and I actually drove into Mirchae River Park's lot by mistake and got a bit lost)
- Temporary public surface lot — there's also a temporary public parking lot between Hyangchon Duck and Swimming Child that you can use
Roadside parking is also apparently allowed until 2pm, so it's worth checking the parking situation before you head over.

The verdict after eating with my picky family
This time Kkomulmom visited MooDoo with her picky-eater in-laws, and everyone said it was delicious and ate well — especially her mother, who usually avoids Western food because it feels too heavy, which was a relief.
Visiting with family meant I paid close attention not just to the food but also to the store's atmosphere and amenities, and MooDoo had comfortable table spacing and was kept impeccably clean, making for a relaxed meal.
The menu is varied too, so next time I'd like to try other dishes one by one. MooDoo, a pasta restaurant in Cheomdan, Gwangju! Really great for gatherings or dates, and highly recommended for visits with kids or as a family restaurant.
