Living at my parents' place and co-parenting with my sister these days, I've been on a mission to check off Yangsan restaurants one by one. I heard there was a new brunch café in Oslo Park, so my sister and I went to check it out.
Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch

Business hours are daily 08:00–18:00.
Where is Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch, and where do you park?
Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is located inside Oslo Park within the Yurim Norway Forest apartment complex in Yangsan. You can park at the Oslo Park lot, where 2 hours are free.

We visited on a weekday at 1:30pm and parking was plentiful, and one additional parking discount could be applied on top of the free time.
Inside Famous Venny: atmosphere and space for strollers

Since Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch had only recently opened, everything looked clean, and the wood-and-white interior stood out. There's also an outdoor terrace, which would be nice to sit on on a nice day. High chairs were ready, and the space felt roomy enough that bringing a stroller didn't feel awkward at all. Because we'd been busy tending to the babies, we arrived well past lunchtime, so ours was the only table there — which actually let us enjoy it more leisurely.
What's on the menu at Famous Venny?

Famous Venny isn't just a coffee shop — it has a wide range of brunch items too, like toast, salads, soup, and acai bowls. Choosing just from the written menu would've been hard, but there was a QR code with photos of each dish, which made it much easier to pick.

They also had simple desserts, and a nice variety of coffee beans on offer.
The Famous Venny (bacon) and French toast
We ordered The Famous Venny (bacon) and French toast. We were told that if orders aren't backed up, brunch dishes come out within 5–10 minutes, except for the grilled mushroom toast.
Because of the babies' feeding schedule, we'd called ahead to order, but since it was our first time moving around with two strollers and two kids in the car, we ended up running a little late. T_T When we arrived, our brunch was already set out and waiting for us!

The Famous Venny comes with croissant, poached egg, avocado, sabayon sauce, macadamia, onion chips, and either bacon or salmon. It was generously loaded with vegetables and nuts, and the sauce was on the light side, so it felt more like a proper meal than a light snack. It ended up being surprisingly filling — quite the full-belly feeling after finishing it!

The French toast comes with croissant, bacon, banana, berry compote, butter crumble, and mixed seeds. Maybe because of the jam, it had a sweet edge that made it good to eat almost like a dessert.

Even between the layers of bread there was something sweet — honey, maybe? — so the bread alone was tasty on its own. Eating the savory Famous Venny alongside the sweet French toast made for a great combination. The Famous Venny on its own might've felt a bit plain, but the sweetness of the French toast rounded it out, so the two complemented each other nicely — I really liked the pairing.
Iced americano and decaf iced americano: the acidity divides opinion

And then the iced americano and decaf iced americano we ordered. How much longer do breastfeeding moms have to stick to decaf... T_T
The iced americano didn't seem to use a typical dark roast — it seemed to be made with beans that had some acidity and a fruity aroma. I wanted to ask about it, but I was too frazzled, so I never got around to it. LOL. I was fine with it, but my sister, who prefers regular coffee, said it wasn't really her thing. I'm no coffee expert, but as someone who enjoys coffee in my own way, I thought it was tasty. I think opinions will probably be split on this one.
The decaf americano exceeded expectations. It wasn't that watery, barley-tea kind of flavor — it had some acidity and tasted like properly good coffee. Probably the best decaf coffee I've had recently.
Tips before you visit Famous Venny

Apparently, if you sign up for Naver notifications, you get a mini yogurt bowl. And if you leave a photo receipt review, you also get a blueberry cream cheese toast. I only noticed this on my way out, so I couldn't try it — worth checking when you order whether it can be combined with the mini yogurt bowl.
Final verdict on Famous Venny in Mulgeum, Yangsan
You'd think brunch means something light, but what we ate today was hearty, refreshing, and light all at once — genuinely delicious. I'm usually not a fan of nuts, but eaten together with the food they went surprisingly well, and I scraped my plate completely clean. Haha.
Even if it suddenly rained, you could move around comfortably indoors, and parking was spacious, so it was a good spot to visit with a baby. Since it opens at 8am, it'd also be nice to visit for an early brunch. Next time I'll have to try some of the other brunch items.
Shoutout to my son who waited so patiently for mom to eat, and to my niece who rocked the stroller for her hungry cousin — best kid ever. ❤︎
