Where is Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch, and where do you park?

Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch is a newly opened conveyor-belt sushi restaurant near Bagae Hospital in downtown Pyeongtaek. Being close to the hospital made it easy to find, and we used the nearby public parking lot. It had been a while since we'd been out to downtown Pyeongtaek Station! We went looking for the newly opened, great-value kaiten sushi spot, Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch.

Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch uses fresh ingredients delivered that same morning, so you can enjoy a variety of sushi and dishes at reasonable prices.

Opening hours and the named-source flounder and sea bream

Hours run from 11:30 to 9:30pm, with a break time from 3 to 5pm in between — keep that in mind!! Unlike other conveyor-belt sushi places, Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch has introduced a named-source system for flounder and sea bream.

Seeing that they clearly show "we use this fresh fish" was so satisfying. In fact, if you look at the receipt, you'll see not just flounder and sea bream but salmon and Spanish mackerel listed too. That was a point my husband really loved haha.

What sauces are set out at each seat?

We visited for weekend lunch and just happened to find two seats free. Each seat had shrimp-salmon sauce / salmon-meat sauce / eel-meat sauce / tuna-sashimi sauce / wasabi / vinegared gochujang sauce, containers, and tissues, all ready to use comfortably.

About 70 kinds of sushi on the belt: how fast does it turn over?

Delicious sushi circling along the belt!!! They say there are about 70 kinds, and the number really was huge! Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch has good turnover too, so plates empty out fast and fresh sushi comes back up quickly, meaning each piece was fresh and really delicious. I'd recommend it as a Pyeongtaek restaurant that everyone, young and old, can enjoy.

They also had desserts like macarons, cakes, and puddings, so kids could enjoy it too. I grabbed salmon sushi as my first plate haha. Such a good start.

2,100 won ramen and udon, ordered by QR code

They said a lot of new menu items have come out too, and surprisingly, things like ramen and udon are also priced at ₩2,100!!! You could order sushi that wasn't on the belt using the QR code at each seat — such a brilliant system.

The fried items seemed to be made fresh on the spot, so they were really warm and delicious! The place was also quite spacious, with separate seating for groups, so it looked good for coming with friends or family too.

From salmon gunkan to yukhoe sushi: the meal begins

Now let's start the feast. Onion salmon sushi, freshwater eel sushi, salmon gunkan (battleship roll) — nom nom. The salmon here was really tasty. Turns out it was the same salmon from the named-source system, so it must have been extra fresh!!

Raw salmon sushi was also really delicious, and the sweet shrimp sushi had exceptional quality too!! Being able to enjoy all this for ₩2,100 — the value-for-money just drops the mic.

Egg shrimp sushi, named-source flounder sushi, yukhoe (raw beef tartare) sushi — nom nom. It's a place where you can really enjoy a wide variety, and the fact that the menu doesn't repeat was the kicker haha.

In between I also spotted cute character merchandise! And pickled ginger and peppers were also circling on the belt. Just grab them with good timing haha.

Three belly-cut plates the husband ordered by QR

We also tried ordering by QR code!!! My husband put in the order first, and it included tonkotsu ramen, bluefin tuna belly, salmon belly, and flounder fin. Ordering one tonkotsu ramen was a mistake ~_~ haha.

And then the ordered items came out quickly! My husband really seems to love the belly cuts of fish. That melt-in-your-mouth taste was just excellent. The salmon belly and tuna sashimi showed off solid quality too.

Can't skip the flounder fin either — Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch, where you can enjoy quality sushi for ₩2,100, is fully recommended! Families, couples, and pairs of guys were all there — a local favorite that people keep coming back to haha.

Tonkotsu ramen, aged kimchi sushi and fried snow crab legs

On top of that, we added hot tonkotsu ramen too~ It came out in a warm, appropriately-sized bowl, giving just the right amount of fullness. I'd never seen a place where you could order something like this!! It really seemed like a good menu item. The seasoning was just right too, so my husband slurped down the broth to the last drop haha.

My husband said the king shrimp sushi was really delicious haha. I really loved this aged kimchi (mukeunji) sushi. There was sesame oil? on top of the aged kimchi, and it went really well with the white fish. So I had this one twice specially haha.

The fried snow crab legs were also really warm and delicious. They were cooked right after ordering, so they were freshly fried and so tasty. Actually, the table next to us had ordered it and it looked so good that we followed suit, and it really was the right choice haha. We also had bacon shrimp sushi and squid sushi — nom nom.

Eel sushi, and finally fried shrimp to finish, gave us a real chance to try a wide variety of sushi and dishes. The atmosphere was really nice too, so it seemed good for a date, and also felt low-pressure for a simple meal.

How many plates the couple ate, and Mikado Sushi's star-branch status

So my husband demolished 20 plates... and I ate 8 plates before heading home hahaha. My husband was so excited the day before that we were going to Mikado Sushi — too funny, hahaha..

Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch was selected as a star franchise location in both 2024 and 2025. Offering fresh ingredients and clean service, it seems to be one of the top-performing branches.

On top of that, you can even accumulate points!!! Let's be smart consumers who eat a lot, eat more, and use those points too haha. I fully recommend this Pyeongtaek restaurant, Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch.

It also looked good for a simple lunch or dinner near Bagae Hospital, enjoyed together with drinks! The alcohol was really cheap too, so it's a value-for-money spot you can enjoy without pressure haha. All drinks ₩3,900, draft beer 400cc for ₩2,100!!! Perfectly fine for a light drink too!
