Korean BBQ in Suwon where staff grill everything: Olheun Gogi

This time we picked a place where the staff grill the meat for us for our family dinner! My dad's always the one grilling,,, 🥲

Here's the inside of the restaurant~ Quite a lot of customers! And it's spacious so there were plenty of seats! So clean too, loved it✨

And if you go further inside, there's a room too!!!! It's seriously huge, totally works for a group dinner 🪏🪏🪏🪏

📋There's a set on the menu board and the composition is so good! It's enough for about 3-4 servings💟 there were 4 of us this time

Side dishes and lettuce wraps

The side dishes💖 came with a good variety, from myeong-i namul (mountain herb) to gat-kimchi (mustard leaf kimchi)! The lettuce wraps aren't included by default — if you order through the kiosk, they'll prepare them for free!

This is exactly how it comes out, super fresh, so good~? 🥬

This is also a basic side dish! Tuna braised in soy sauce, it's so good, a little spicy~ and it's really tasty. And the geotjeori (fresh cabbage kimchi)! My mom loved it and said it was delicious

And the giant~~~ steamed egg that comes with the set is seriously huge, it doesn't look it in the photo but!!! And it's so tasty!!

You have to try the beef tartare

This yukhoe (beef tartare) is insanely good, we just mixed it all together and it was so so good🥹🥹🥹🥹 you have to try the yukhoe💓

Staff grill the meat from start to finish

Here's the meat ready to go❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 it's so~ thick🥹🥹🥹 there's no way this could be bad

The staff member grills it all from start to finish like this, so so convenient. Honestly, who actually likes grilling meat?🥲 If you come here for a group dinner, you don't have to worry about it at all — really great

They grill it so well, neat and delicious, love it. They give it to you like this with cheese on top, one piece at a time. Meat and cheese is surprisingly a great combo?!?!

Dipping it in myeoljeot

Myeoljeot (fermented anchovy sauce)!!! This comes out too🥹 certified good restaurant, boom boom boom! And once everything's grilled, they stack the meat into a tower on the griddle 🤣🤣 they're really good at stacking it

Dip the meat lightly in the myeoljeot, top it with a piece of well-grilled garlic, add wasabi ssamjang, then a cheongyang chili on top,,, perfect. I'll give it a full score⭐️

Finishing with cheol-dol doenjang jjigae

Can't resist the carbs at the end, right?! Doenjang jjigae with crab and beef brisket in it,,,!!!! Such a good stew. Add rice, tofu and the broth together and mash it up — you already know, JMT (really freaking tasty)

On the way out after paying, they had candy and coffee neatly set up too🍭🍬
