Is Songrim Bok Jangeo a good spot for company dinners and gatherings?

The Songrim Bok Jangeo Saesol branch has big tables set up, which makes it look perfect for group gatherings or company dinners👥 The place is spacious too, and the floor-to-ceiling windows make it feel even bigger🙌

This isn't my first visit to this chain, but it's my first time at the Saesol branch••! The Ansan City Hall branch was pleasant too, and this branch is just as clean and spacious

The buffet time limit is 2 hours and leftover food can't be packed to go *There's an environmental fee if you leave food behind

There are aprons available inside the restaurant, just so you know

They also sell takeout — 1kg trimmed down to about 650g, including 2 free sauces, for ₩35,000. Great for taking eel home too

There's a baby chair inside too, so it's convenient to visit with kids

At the Songrim Bok Jangeo Saesol branch self-serve bar, there are side dishes, eel, pork belly, duck neck meat, and wrap vegetables ready to go.

It seemed carefully managed and clean, so I could eat with peace of mind

The restroom is located outside the restaurant, so grab tissue before you go

There's a wide variety of drinks and alcohol too. Honestly, what pairs best with eel is alcohol🍻 They said dinnertime is their peak hours

Green onion kimchi and shredded ginger: the side dishes pass the test

The basic side dishes are pickled onion, pickled perilla leaves, green onion kimchi, white kimchi, and ginger strips. The green onion kimchi in particular is the kicker — spicy and great texture, I keep thinking about it.

And ginger strips with eel is a winning combo🙌 It cuts the richness nicely

It pairs perfectly with the side dishes — top it with a bit of ginger strips for the best combo｡·͜·｡ The eel sauce is sweet too, definitely recommend dipping
