I'm the type who absolutely cannot live without salmon — a total salmon killer — and while hunting for a Gwangalli salmon restaurant, a Gwangalli sushi spot, I found a place with insanely good visuals!! Let me introduce Salmon Brothers :)

Where is Salmon Brothers in Gwangalli, and when is it open?
Salmon Brothers is at 49 Gwangan-ro, 2nd floor, Suyeong-gu, Busan, on the 2nd floor of the Emart24 building. Hours are Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 17:00-01:00 (last order 00:00), Sat, Sun 12:00-01:00 (break time 16:00-17:00), closed every Tuesday, and also closed on Chuseok holiday, Sept 25. There's no parking lot.

Salmon Brothers is about a 7-minute walk from Gwangan Station Exit 3. I took the bus and got off at Gwangalli-ipgu, which was only about a 3-minute walk!! If you're driving, there's no lot at the restaurant, so you'll need to use a nearby paid parking lot — there's no parking support! Salmon Brothers is on the 2nd floor of the Emart24 building.

Posters lining the way up to the 2nd floor — and that bear? character seems to be the Salmon Brothers mascot.

Inside Salmon Brothers: seating and atmosphere
Inside Salmon Brothers, mini lamps at every table create a warm, cozy atmosphere. With a bar table and 4-person tables, I thought it'd be a perfect Gwangalli date restaurant.
I was surprised the moment I walked in — the vibe is so nice and pretty. There's also a bar table, which looked great for couples. Eating delicious food while whispering to each other haha
There are 4-person tables too. The chairs looked like sofas and the cushions were so soft and comfortable — overall the atmosphere was so nice I thought it'd be a perfect Gwangalli date restaurant.

The place is so pretty that every photo comes out nice haha. This was the self-service corner? with water and tissues.

Salmon Brothers menu and what we ordered
Salmon Brothers' menu has a wide range of salmon dishes — salmon sashimi, salmon sushi, salmon steak, salmon salad, salmon cheese rolls — plus a salmon/beef tartare/flounder combo platter. I ordered giant salmon sushi 6pcs (₩16,000), raw salmon tataki sushi (₩17,000), and truffle cream pasta (₩16,000).
True to being a Gwangalli salmon restaurant, there's a great variety of salmon dishes, and there's even a salmon / beef tartare / flounder combo platter!! Looks so good,, And true to being a Gwangalli Western-food restaurant, there are three kinds of pasta too. Plus clam wine steam and side dishes — such a wide selection, I loved it~
- Giant salmon sushi 6pcs ₩16,000
- Raw salmon tataki sushi ₩17,000
- Truffle cream pasta ₩16,000
Since Salmon Brothers is a Gwangalli salmon restaurant and I heard the pasta was good too, I ordered a pasta dish as well. Just from the photos, the visuals looked amazing, so I was so excited,,

Ta-da!! Giant salmon sushi, raw salmon tataki sushi, and truffle cream pasta!! The visuals are seriously insane,, thanks to the mini lamps at every table, the photos come out so pretty 🤍
I recorded a video of it too.

How big is the giant salmon sushi at Salmon Brothers?
The giant salmon sushi at Salmon Brothers had salmon slices about the size of my palm — each piece was roughly the size of two regular sushi pieces. It was labeled 'giant salmon sushi,' but in photos it didn't look THAT huge, so I was surprised at just how big it actually was.

The giant salmon sushi! It comes brushed with soy sauce already, so you just eat it as is. The salmon is genuinely thick and chunky, so you get the full salmon flavor. It melts softly in your mouth with a silky texture — pure art,, savory, and the rice portion was just right. Honestly the best salmon sushi I've ever had.

A close-up shot because the salmon looked so amazing. Seriously glistening,, I still want to eat it right now as I'm writing this ㅠㅠ

What does the raw salmon tataki sushi taste like?
The raw salmon tataki sushi at Salmon Brothers has its surface seared, adding a smoky, nutty flavor. The sauce drizzled on top was sweet and delicious too. And above all, the salmon was so soft.
Both the raw and tataki sushi were delicious in their own distinct ways, so I'd recommend getting the half-and-half option! They do offer a half-half menu~

Truffle cream pasta at Salmon Brothers: is it worth 16,000 won?
The truffle cream pasta (₩16,000) at Salmon Brothers had a thick yet smooth cream sauce with a subtle truffle aroma rising through it 🤍 Proper nutty flavor,, the sauce wasn't watery at all, so every bite delivered that rich creamy taste, and the mushrooms and bacon were thick and satisfying to chew.
Best of all, it paired really well with the salmon sushi. Salmon Brothers isn't just good at salmon — they're good at pasta too,, confirmed Gwangalli Western-food restaurant,, 👍🏼

On my way out after paying, I noticed the counter was decorated cutely too. I also got a Salmon Brothers sticker. So cute haha
Verdict: Salmon Brothers for salmon lovers in Gwangalli
I enjoyed delicious salmon sushi and pasta at Salmon Brothers in Gwangalli — being able to try several dishes instead of just one made the meal even more satisfying 🤍 Every dish had its own personality, so I think it'd be great to visit with a group and order a variety to share.
The salmon was huge and high quality, so as a salmon killer myself, this was the number one salmon sushi restaurant in my book. The pasta was also thick, nutty, and full of flavor thanks to the truffle aroma. It's also close to Gwangalli Beach, so I recommend visiting if you're around Gwangalli!! Especially recommended if you love salmon!!
If you're looking for a Gwangalli date restaurant, a Gwangalli salmon restaurant, or a Gwangalli pasta restaurant, don't hesitate — visit Salmon Brothers ☘️
