Songpa flower shop teacher's Chuseok gift: ₩65,000 mini basket, Habio

Ahead of Chuseok (Korean thanksgiving), I was trying to figure out what to get my teacher as a gift, and this time I went with a flower basket. :)

There was such a wide variety of bouquets and flower baskets, and so much to look at, that it became a Munjeong-dong flower shop I'd want to return to whenever I need to prepare a flower gift.

Habio Flower by Su is located on the first floor of Park Habio in Munjeong-dong. Park Habio itself is a huge complex, but the store stands out enough that I found it without much trouble.

And right from the entrance, something caught my eye!

There it was — an award from the Consumer Industry Evaluation. Oh... I knew I was coming to a famous place, but it turned out to be even more impressive than I expected, haha.

Stepping inside, the shop is genuinely huge. Most flower shops tend to be cozy little spaces packed with flowers, but Habio Flower by Su has space extending all the way to the back, so it was easy to browse the many flowers and products at a leisurely pace.

So it wasn't just a matter of picking up my reserved flowers and leaving — there was fun in browsing around too.

And here's the part I really liked: bouquet prices are listed at fixed rates.

Personally, I prefer having a set standard rather than prices being too flexible. At flower shops you sometimes have to keep asking things like 'how much is this size?' or 'what would this budget get me?' — but at Habio Flower by Su, you can see actual examples by size, which made choosing really easy.

Being able to see roughly what size and feel you'll get for a given budget before ordering seems great for people who aren't used to ordering flowers. It would be especially convenient for graduations, entrance ceremonies, birthdays, or anniversaries where you're working with a set budget. With this kind of thoughtful setup, I could see why it's known as the Munjeong-dong flower shop to go to for gift flowers.

Inside the store, a variety of already-made bouquets were on display. The colors and combinations were all so pretty that browsing made me want to buy one for myself too, haha.

The back of the store is packed with fresh flowers. Pink, white, yellow — so many colors and types of flowers that just looking at them puts you in a good mood. I guess a flower shop really does lift your spirits the moment you walk in. I went to pick up my reserved basket and ended up browsing for quite a while. :)

And finally, the star of the day! I had pre-reserved the ₩65,000 mini flower basket at Habio Flower by Su. Since this was for my teacher for Chuseok, I wanted something that wasn't too much, but that would clearly look pretty upon receiving it.

I arrived at my reservation time and it was already prepared like this. Ta-da!

Wow... the moment I saw it, I was the one who got touched first, it was so pretty. I worried a 'mini' basket might end up too small, but not at all. The flowers were arranged densely, so it looked really full overall, and several types of flowers blended naturally together so it looked pretty from every angle.

It's a size that's not a burden to carry as a gift, but has real presence once you actually see it. Exactly the feel I wanted.

After confirming my reserved basket, the owner finished it off with beautiful wrapping. Watching it come together as she wrapped it quickly felt nice too, haha.

The flower basket itself was already pretty, but having it finished so neatly for gifting made it look even more impressive. On top of that, the owner was so lovely and kind that the whole time spent picking up the flowers felt good. A gift really shouldn't just make the recipient happy — the person preparing it should feel excited too. This day was exactly that.

It wasn't even flowers I was keeping for myself, but the moment I walked out carrying the basket, I just felt good for no reason. :) Thinking about giving it to my teacher for Chuseok, I felt like I'd chosen well. With flowers this pretty, I bet my teacher will love it too.

Visiting in person, I understood why Habio Flower by Su is so well-known! It's genuinely one of the largest flower shops I've been to, with so many options — bouquets, flower baskets, and a variety of gift items. Browsing the showcase full of fresh flowers was also part of the fun.

Most of all, being able to check prices and sizes in advance was genuinely convenient. It's easy to visit with a set budget in mind, and if you reserve ahead, you can pick up flowers already beautifully prepared, like I did — handy even on a busy day. I was really happy with the ₩65,000 mini flower basket I ordered this time!

Beyond holiday and teacher gifts, I'd like to come back for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and entrance ceremonies — any special occasion that calls for flowers.
