Today I visited Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, a sandwich café in Jamsil. They had all kinds of sandwiches you can eat quickly along with a wide variety of drinks, and I had a great meal there. Let's get right into the review!

A Jamsil Station sandwich café with outdoor tables too
There was seating inside the store as well as outdoor tables. The weather's been getting breezy and cool lately, and when we visited some people were eating outside!

Let's head inside the store first~!

What's on the menu? From jambon-beurre to bánh mì to egg sandwiches
As we walked in I got to check out the menu board first! And the AC was blasting at full power, which was very satisfying~!
There were so many different types of sandwiches. The ones marked as best sellers were the Town Sandwich and the Basil Sandwich, and there was also jambon-beurre, which I really love! On top of that, there was grilled chicken bánh mì, egg sandwich, chicken curry, and more — such a big advantage to have that wide range of choices.

They also had cream soup and pumpkin soup to pair with your sandwich. And though it's not all in the photo above, there were plenty of coffee and drink options too.

Solo seats and the store atmosphere
Once inside, I noticed there were side-by-side seats perfect for solo dining, as well as tables for larger groups.
Looking around, they were also running a draw event! And they had photos of all the drinks and sandwiches posted around the store, which was handy for ordering.

The variety is really impressive, right? Since they're known as a great sandwich spot in Jamsil, let's go ahead and order our sandwiches!

By the way, the kitchen is open like this, and while ordering is done through an unmanned kiosk, it was reassuring that you could still speak directly to staff if any issues came up or you had questions!

How much for a set order? ₩25,700 for two
Here's what we ordered today. One of us got the drink set that comes with a beverage, and the other got the all-in-one set that comes with both a drink and soup~! Ordering a set gets you a bit of a discount, so it seems worth doing together! I ordered the jambon-beurre sandwich with iced tea and pumpkin soup, and my partner ordered the chicken bánh mì with iced americano, for a total of ₩25,700!

After ordering and sitting down, I noticed they were also running a Naver receipt review event. Writing a Naver receipt review gets you a free iced tea, so definitely take part if you're buying a sandwich~!
Choosing to cut it into thirds, and the takeout container
Ta-da! Our order came out right away! One of the great things about Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is that everything comes in a container that's easy to pack up, and you can also choose how your sandwich is cut! Uncut, halved, or in thirds — we went with thirds for easier eating!

There were really so many ingredients packed in, and it was plated cleanly and prettily, which made me kind of happy! It also seems like it would be great to pack up like this for a picnic!

Chicken bánh mì: cilantro on the side, chili added
My partner's chicken bánh mì sandwich. It had a bit of chicken in it, and this menu item had quite a lot of tangy sauce drizzled on. There were also sliced carrots inside — it felt like a healthy choice.

By the way, my partner really loves cilantro, and cilantro goes so well with bánh mì and chili, right? So we added chili. That amount was around ₩1,000. Cilantro normally comes mixed into the sandwich, but since I don't really eat it, I asked if they could just put it on the side instead, and they kindly separated it out for us!

How was the truffle jambon-beurre?
This is the truffle jambon-beurre I ordered! It was packed with ham, which I love, and I personally enjoyed it a lot~!

Such a generously packed sandwich at Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch 👍🏻

Having tried both the chicken bánh mì and the jambon-beurre, each one has its own distinct charm and both were delicious, so I was very satisfied. In particular, I don't know if the baguette outside was made in-house, but it was seriously crisp and tasty.

The bread wasn't chewy at all — crisp yet soft — so it was a satisfying bite!

Pumpkin soup and iced tea
We also ordered the pumpkin soup, and it wasn't artificially sweet, so it felt healthy — plus it came with crisp baguette to dip in, and the combo of baguette and soup was really good together!

I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a rich, thick style of soup.
For a drink I got iced tea, and the sweetness level was exactly what I wanted, so I enjoyed it a lot! It was also really cold, and it came with a cup holder so you can keep using the cup comfortably even as the ice melts.
You can also pack up a sandwich you've already started eating
That crisp jambon-beurre... 🩷 I ate about two pieces and got full, so I asked to have the rest packed up, and they closed the lid and packed it up easily for us! Being able to pack up a sandwich you've already started eating is great — you can split it, eat some, and take the rest home. Totally works.
My partner also finished lunch very satisfied. It's a simple sandwich, but by no means a flimsy one — it's packed with substance. I'd recommend enjoying it together with a drink. It seems to already have a bit of a lunchtime reputation, since there were quite a lot of customers when we went. If you're looking for a great sandwich spot in Jamsil, why not give this place a try?
