Gongdeok lash salon: natural, full extensions for bare eyes, Iyo Shop

Sharing my lash extension review from Iyo Shop, a lash extension studio near Gongdeok Station. :)

Where is Iyo Shop? 288m from Gongdeok Station Exit 3

Iyo Shop's address is 143 Mapo-daero, 2nd Floor, Room 211, Mapo-gu, Seoul. It's within 288m of Gongdeok Station Exit 3, so it's a quick walk.

Come out of Gongdeok Station Exit 3 and walk straight — once you see an Olive Young, head up to the 2nd floor of the building and you'll find Iyo Shop, the lash extension studio near Gongdeok Station!

It's Room 211 on the 2nd floor of Park Palace 2 in Gongdeok, and you can take either the stairs or the elevator.

Since they're open until 9pm Monday through Saturday, it looked like a great option for office workers nearby to drop by after work...!

You can't see inside the shop from outside, so Iyo Shop feels nice and private.

What is the one-person lash studio like inside?

Once you step inside Iyo Shop, true to its nature as a one-person studio, it's compact but decorated in a clean white-toned interior. The neat, pretty look put me in a good mood.

I also liked that the consultation area and the treatment area are separated by a wall. It's nice to get treated somewhere clean and pretty, right? And since it's 100% appointment-only, the space is entirely yours! There's a separate spot to store your coat and belongings.

How the natural-style lash extensions turned out

Ta-da, this is my eye right after the treatment. I usually don't wear much eye makeup, but I always make sure to get lash extensions. After discussing it with the owner, I asked for a natural style, and the result was really satisfying.

Before the treatment, she asked about my usual style preferences and what I wanted, then proceeded accordingly — that's probably why the result turned out exactly to my liking.

During the treatment, she worked so carefully, strand by strand. Meanwhile I ended up falling into a deep sleep on the comfortable bed lol; but I was really moved by how attentive the work was...

Also, the owner is pretty quiet, so she didn't talk much and just focused on the treatment — which was actually great for introverts like me...? When I opened my eyes, my lashes had transformed exactly as I requested: not overdone, natural, but full!

At Iyo Shop in Gongdeok, I noticed a lot of people get lash perms too, not just extensions. I plan to keep these looking nice and try a lash perm next time! If you're looking for full lash extensions with 1:1 custom design at Iyo Shop near Gongdeok Station, it's definitely worth a visit!
