It's Jina, back with another food date. Looking for a spot in Gangnam for a friend hangout or a blind date — somewhere with atmosphere, a generous menu, and food that photographs well?

If so, how about Brivit Gangnam Station, just a 5-minute walk from Gangnam Station?

A high school friend who'd just come back from her honeymoon wanted to treat me, so we met up in Gangnam for the first time in a while. I was tired after work on a Thursday, but when we got there, we turned out to be the last ones let in before a line started forming right behind us. Perfect timing, haha.

That day we ordered the Beet Set, upgraded with the Hop-Hop! Rabbit Pasta and Green Onion Cream Corn Gnocchi, coming to ₩53,700 total. Let me walk you through everything, from the seats to the menu!

Where is Brivit Gangnam Station and how do you get there?

Brivit Gangnam Station sits almost exactly midway between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station — about a 5-minute walk from Gangnam Station, and roughly the same from Sinnonhyeon, so either exit works. The address is 31 Gangnam-daero102-gil, 1st floor, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It's set a little inside an alley off Gangnam-daero, so you won't spot it from the main road right away, but it's right there once you turn into the alley.

Honestly, the pink facade catches your eye so it's not hard to find. The pink exterior really stands out, and there are so many plants set out front that it feels almost like a café even though you're in the middle of Gangnam — the approach alone already sets a nice mood. (˶ᵔ ᕵ ᔁᵔ˶)

We went on a Thursday evening after work, and the inside was already pretty full, with a wait line forming right after we got in. If it's like that on a weekday, weekends probably require bracing yourself for a wait. Booking ahead is recommended!

Inside Brivit Gangnam Station: interior and seating options

Step inside and it's a whole different world.

Wood tones, pretty artwork on the walls, and lighting that's not too bright for the middle of Gangnam — just dim enough that the food photographs well while still being comfortable to chat in.

There are also bar-style seats that make solo dining comfortable.

There's also a spot where you can eat while looking outside. It's a European restaurant with a great atmosphere, so I saw quite a few people who seemed to be on blind dates — totally makes sense with this vibe, haha. It feels like a space that works whether you're with a friend, a boyfriend, or someone you're meeting for the first time.

Besides the regular indoor tables, there's a terrace-like space filled with green plants — apparently that side photographs even better. If you're going on a nice-weather day, check for that seating when you book!

What comes in the Beet Set at Brivit, and how much is it?

Brivit also does à la carte, but we went with the Beet Set.

The set includes a salad, pasta, gnocchi, and drinks all together, which makes it perfect for two people to try a few different things.

Pasta alone is ₩19,900 and gnocchi alone is ₩18,900, so bundling into the set is clearly a deal — the salad and two drinks are included on top. The set lets you each pick your own pasta and gnocchi, and we went with whatever caught our eye first.

The cute-sounding Rabbit Pasta plus the Green Onion Cream Corn Gnocchi, which just sounds savory from the name alone! A bit of trivia here—

There's a fun little quirk here: you shake a bell on the table to call staff over for ordering, haha. A bit awkward but fun.

Greek yogurt and tomato salad

One of the dishes I ordered was the Greek yogurt & tomato salad.

It's the starter that comes standard with the set, and honestly I first thought, "it's probably just a salad." But it turned out to be genuinely delicious, haha — a pleasant surprise. The tomatoes were juicy and sweet,

and the Greek yogurt added a thick, nutty richness, with a subtle hint of basil that kept things light rather than heavy — a great way to start.

The yogurt wasn't too tangy, so it blended naturally with the tomato. Since the pasta and gnocchi that came later were both creamy, picking at the salad in between really reset the palate — it paired really well with the rest of the meal.

Hop-Hop Rabbit Pasta (+2,000 won)

The other dish I ordered was the Hop-Hop! Rabbit Pasta for +₩2,000. The name is so on-brand for Brivit, haha.

The moment it arrived, I blurted out, "oh, this is pretty!" The plating is arranged to resemble a rabbit shape, and it lives up to being a dish worth photographing.

But it's not just pretty to look at — the pasta itself is genuinely delicious.

The sauce soaked into the noodles nicely, and one bite made me want to alternate between it and the gnocchi — that's exactly the kind of flavor sweet spot it sits in.

Green onion cream corn gnocchi (+1,000 won)

And the dish I personally liked best that day was the Green Onion Cream Corn Gnocchi for +₩1,000.

You could really feel the gnocchi's chewy-yet-fluffy potato texture, generously coated in a soft, savory cream sauce.

If it were just cream sauce, it might get heavy after a while, but the subtle green onion aroma cuts through the richness nicely. Add in the sweet, bursty corn kernels, and you get both a texture change and a more layered flavor overall. If you like creamy pasta-style dishes, this one really won't disappoint.

The drinks were the orange juice and zero-sugar cola that came with the set. Whenever the gnocchi felt a bit rich, a sip of the zero-sugar cola helped, and the orange juice was nice for a lighter start — alternating between the two kept things from feeling heavy all the way through.

The whole flow builds naturally from the light salad, to the eye-catching pasta, to the rich gnocchi, so the menu clearly seemed well thought out. At ₩53,700 for this whole spread, it felt like pretty solid value for Gangnam.

Honestly it started as just a catch-up dinner with a friend, but the food turned out to be far more satisfying than expected. The green onion cream corn gnocchi and the salad were the surprise standouts, and the atmosphere felt unusually warm and comfortable for Gangnam, making it an easy space to focus on conversation, haha.
