I found a great spot in Yeouido for when you want something simple but delicious in the snack food department. It's Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch!

It's inside IFC Mall, so it's super accessible, and you can enjoy a whole range of snack menu items — tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried snacks, sundae (Korean blood sausage), gimbap (seaweed rice roll) — all in one place. I'd recommend it to anyone hunting for a good tteokbokki spot in Yeouido.

It was also a solid option for office workers in Yeouido looking for a lunch spot.

Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch has both indoor and outdoor seating, so it feels nice and spacious haha!!

Even on a weekday evening, there were quite a few people there.

You order at the kiosk. We ordered the Hyeonseonine set so we could try a little bit of everything.

The set originally comes with gimbap, but it was sold out when we visited, so we got rice balls instead.

How mild is the mild tteokbokki at Hyeonseonine Premium?

I loved that Hyeonseonine lets you choose your spice level. I'm not great with spicy food, so I went mild.

The mild tteokbokki was gentle enough for even a spice wimp like me to eat comfortably, and it was sweet and delicious. If you love that classic spicy tteokbokki kick, go for a hotter level.

Five kinds of fried snacks in the Hyeonseonine set

Hyeonseonine had such a variety of fried snacks that it was fun picking through them. Fried squid, sweet potato roll, vegetable roll, kimmari (fried seaweed rice roll), yaki-mandu (fried dumplings) — all came out together, perfect for dipping in the tteokbokki sauce.

The tteokbokki-and-fried-snack combo never fails. Dipping crispy fried snacks lightly in the tteokbokki sauce was so good.

The chewy sundae, with liver and offal

The sundae in the Hyeonseonine set was pretty satisfying too. It doesn't come alone — liver and other organ meats came along with it, so sundae lovers will especially enjoy it.

The sundae had a nice chewy texture, and the liver wasn't dry, so it was easy to eat alongside everything else. Perfect combo if you want tteokbokki, fried snacks, and sundae all at once at a snack restaurant!

Is Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall good with a kid?

We visited with our kid, who still can't handle spicy tteokbokki, so they ate everything but the tteokbokki.

But the fried snacks, sundae, and rice balls — the kid ate those up happily. If you're at IFC Mall with a kid looking for a simple meal, this kind of snack food menu is a solid choice.
