Open Tue-Sat 10:00-19:30 (last order 19:00), Sun 10:00-17:00 (last order 16:30), closed every Monday. No parking on site, so use a nearby public or private lot — if you park at Jeonpo Station parking lot it's a 5-minute walk haha

So there was a curry gem in a Jeonpo basement — was I the only one who didn't know haha

Sarugak20 has a variety of table shapes, so it works for groups of 2-4 or solo dining~ There's also a hand-washing area haha

Solo dining time would be comfortable and enjoyable here too haha You can eat without worrying about anyone watching, which makes it a satisfying spot~

Sarugak20 has a café-like space, so it's nice to order your curry and then browse the props while you wait. There are postcard-style artworks too, and the rattan bags have a nice feel~^^

Beef brisket cream curry with tonkatsu and omelet added

That day I ordered beef brisket cream curry, half-and-half curry with added tonkatsu, and added omelet. Drink was cream soda.

The cream soda was nice and sweet too

The basic side is small kkakdugi (radish kimchi). It's not spicy, so it goes nicely with the curry

A curry gem in Jeonpo, Busan — Sarugak20. Turns out Moru Sikdang, the beloved Jeonpo restaurant, opened this as their second branch, Sarugak20

Add scrambled egg and out comes the cutest curry haha

This combo really can't be bad. The cream curry's soft flavor with the heavy, savory fat of the beef brisket gives it that top-tier umami haha

Put a cherry tomato on top and it's so cute

Was I really the only one who didn't know about this curry gem haha Sarugak20 pairs so well with the wood interior. A sip of cream soda too haha

The cream isn't greasy at all, the meat is tasty and savory. And the rice is done well too haha

What comes in Sarugak20's half-and-half curry?

The half-and-half curry turned out to be a combo of cream curry and special curry. Scoop it up together with the scrambled egg for a big bite, whoa. Eating big bites is the best way haha

Let me dip the tonkatsu into the special curry haha Adding the omelet side dish was a great call. A bite of kkakdugi too haha isn't that shaped like a cloud haha

The most popular menu item at Sarugak20 is the half-and-half curry haha As always, half-and-half options are the best haha
