Seongsu pizzeria bar table for one with fries: Pizza Slice Seoul

The weather's been so bright and lovely lately that I went on a solo outing to Seongsu after a while. While wandering the alleys of Seongsu-dong, I stopped in my tracks when I spotted a hip sign that smelled unmistakably American, haha. After walking around Seongsu for a long time, I wanted a filling dinner even though I was alone, and I was so happy to find a great Seongsu pizza spot where you can enjoy slices without any pressure of eating solo :))

Where is Pizza Slice Seoul, and what are its hours?

The solo-dining spot I visited near Seongsu Station is Pizza Slice Seoul, located midway between Konkuk University Station and Seongsu Station. It's about an 8-9 minute walk from the subway station, perfect for a light neighborhood stroll.

It's open daily from 11am to 8pm. No need to worry about a break time — perfect for stopping by comfortably to enjoy solo dining in Seongsu 👍

There's a bar table where you don't feel self-conscious eating alone at all, and since it's sold by the slice, you can order just 1-2 slices, whatever amount you want — a great atmosphere for anyone doing solo dining in Seongsu.

Inside the basement pizzeria in Seongsu

As soon as I went down the stairs to the basement, I was surprised by how spacious and pleasant the space felt. There was none of that typical basement stuffiness, and the tables were spaced really far apart, haha.

Most of all, it had an open kitchen structure that was spotless and gleaming — not a speck of dust. The place was shockingly clean! The hygiene management was so thorough it really built trust.

There was even a sink for washing your hands before eating, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch 💛

The menu board and how to choose your slices

The Pizza Slice Seoul menu board! They sell a variety of slices — cheese, pepperoni, jalapeño, and more — along with sides to go with them. Besides drinks, they also have beer and cocktails, so a simple pizza-and-beer combo is possible too, haha.

It's not written on the menu, but apparently you can reserve one of these trendy lettering pizzas too!! Someone happened to order one while I was there and I snuck a peek — totally hip vibe... ✨

Big pizzas are lined up inside a glass showcase, so you can also pick out what you want with your own eyes! Looking at those shiny pizzas made my mouth water.

I ordered pepperoni, white Hawaiian pizza, fries, garlic dipping sauce, and Zero Coke! They reheated it in the oven right after ordering, so I could feel that fresh-out-of-the-oven warmth right away 💛

How do the pepperoni and white Hawaiian slices taste?

My first impression of the pizza was: this is really big!

I was shocked at how the slice was way bigger than my face — ordering just 2 slices per person would leave you stuffed. If you're doing solo dining near Seongsu Station, 1-2 slices per person should be plenty to fill most people up!

The salty pepperoni pizza burst with the deep, spicy-salty flavor of American-style pepperoni the moment I bit into it. A salty pizza that goes so well with hot sauce!

Maybe because it was piled high with pepperoni, the flavor was so rich and truly delicious.

The white Hawaiian pizza showed off an amazing sweet-and-salty charm where sweet, tangy pineapple met smooth white sauce! The white sauce plus bacon and onion combo blended so well it almost tasted like a cream pasta!!

Dipping it generously into the rich, savory garlic dipping sauce, it paired beautifully with the crust's crispy, clean flavor — I was impressed all the way to the last bite. I could see exactly why this place is famous as a Seongsu pizza spot!

The crust was thin and crispy — genuinely tastes like it's straight from America — and every table had Heinz ketchup, hot sauce, crushed red pepper, black pepper, and salt so you could sprinkle to your taste 🍕

The fries were hot too, and eating them together was so good. They weren't too salty, which I liked even more! Next time I'd love to try the buffalo wings I've been curious about, haha.
