Baby-friendly Seongsu café with wall-side sofa seats: Biat Seongsu

I went to Seongsu with a friend and my baby for a meal and coffee, and stopped by 'Biat Seongsu,' a croffle spot in Buk-Seongsu. It's a large café that feels like walking into a gallery, with a variety of tasty croffle menus — great to visit if you love dessert. Let me introduce Biat Seongsu ☕️🧇

How to get to Biat Seongsu: location, parking and hours

Today's croffle-and-dessert spot in Seongsu, 'Biat Seongsu,' is about a 4-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 1. 🚘 There's no parking on-site, so you'll need to search for 'Seongdong Ansim Sangga' parking lot, about 5 minutes away, and use that instead.

'Biat Seongsu' is on the 2nd floor of the building. Just head up the stairs on the right.

Ordering at Biat Seongsu: table QR code and pickup counter

As soon as you walk in, you'll see the counter, but since every table has a QR code for checking the menu and ordering, I only used the counter for pickup and returning items 🙂 There are figurines on top of the showcase at the counter — kind of felt like they represented all of us worn out by daily life, haha (coffee transfusion required ☕️)

A gallery-like space in Seongsu

'Biat Seongsu' was a café with that distinct Seongsu-dong sensibility ✨ With gallery-like artworks hung throughout, it had a different atmosphere from a typical café, so it was fun just to walk around and look at the space.

Thanks to the stylish atmosphere it felt like a real hot spot, and it was great for chatting over coffee with my friend — the space itself was so pretty that we ended up taking a lot of photos. If you're looking for a stylish, atmospheric café in Seongsu, this one's worth a visit ☕️

Best seats at Biat Seongsu for sitting with a baby

I picked a wall-side seat so I could lean back while sitting with my baby, but the sofa in the center also looked really plush and comfortable. It was so comfortable that someone was actually lying down and sleeping there, haha. It really felt like a café with an atmosphere good for relaxing ☺️

Being a large café, there were even more seats on the left side of the counter, and unlike the right side, natural light came in, giving that area an overall brighter, more cheerful feel. If you like taking photos in the sunlight, I'd recommend the seats on the left 📸☀️

Once you've picked a seat you like, just scan the QR code on the table to check the menu and order. It was convenient not having to go up to the counter at all — you could order whatever drink and dessert you wanted right from your seat.

Biat Seongsu MENU

There were so many croffle options that I had trouble deciding, so I ended up ordering the fig Greek croffle, the signature plain croffle, plus an americano and a latte 😊 The tiramisu affogato menu looked delicious too!

You could also switch the coffee to decaf (+₩500 for the change). There were coffee beans displayed near the counter too, so you could check out what beans the café uses.

✔️ They were also running an event where you get a free dessert bread if you write a Naver receipt review. You get to leave a review and also get bread to enjoy with your coffee — if you visit, it's worth joining the event for some free bread, haha.

Two croffles at Biat Seongsu: portion and taste

When our croffles and coffee arrived, the portions were bigger than expected. Both my friend and I love dessert, so we ordered two kinds of croffle, and when the menu actually arrived, we were both surprised at how generous the portions were 🫢

Fig Greek croffle, 15,000 won

The fig Greek croffle was so pretty visually that I couldn't not take photos! It's a new menu item at 'Biat Seongsu,' and apparently it's already become a popular croffle.

With the sweet flavor of fig and smooth Greek yogurt added on top of the crispy croffle, it was great to enjoy as a dessert. Especially with the fruit and yogurt together, it felt fresher and lighter than a typical croffle.

Plain croffle, 7,000 won

I also ordered the signature plain croffle because I wanted to try the flavor of the croffle in its most basic form. I liked the classic croffle texture — crispy outside, chewy inside 👍🏻 Both croffles we ordered paired well with coffee and were delicious, but if you had to pick just one, I'd recommend the fig Greek croffle! (It's tasty, and honestly, it's just so pretty, haha.)

Café latte, 5,000 won

My friend wanted a latte, so we ordered that too, and they made such pretty latte art that it was genuinely touching 🤎 From dessert to coffee, 'Biat Seongsu' was the kind of café where every single item was worth photographing.
