My boyfriend and I went to Everland this past weekend, and after playing all day we were absolutely starving. While searching for nearby restaurants, I found Rustic Smoke House Yongin Yangji Branch, and long story short — totally satisfied 🥰 If you're looking for a good restaurant in Yongin Yangji, especially a steak spot in Cheoin-gu or a place near Everland, this post should help!!

How long is the drive from Everland, and is there parking?

It's not too far from Everland by car, so it's an easy stop as a restaurant near Everland. The location is a bit tucked in, so I'd recommend driving rather than taking public transit.

When we arrived, a big RUSTIC HOUSE sign greeted us, and the exterior already had a nice atmosphere. Plus the parking lot was so spacious that we didn't have to worry about parking at all!

A mountain-lodge interior and the self-serve bar

The inside of Rustic Smoke House is decorated with a guestbook wall right from the entrance, so it was fun to look around.

Once inside, it felt just like a mountain lodge! The little decor pieces scattered around all had such a great atmosphere. Looking at the flowers and vintage props made the wait for the food fly by, haha.

The interior is fairly spacious, with generous spacing between tables, so you can eat comfortably without worrying about the next table over!

The center table in particular looked perfect for a group visit.

There's a self-serve bar in the middle of the restaurant where you can grab plates and snacks yourself. But we held off on snacks since we planned to eat a ton of meat, haha.

The menu: what comes in the 67,000-won BBQ Couple Set

The menu was seriously varied. From main sets to standalone BBQ and mains, pasta and rice, salads, sides, drinks, and alcohol — everything was neatly organized by category.

What we ordered was the ✔️BBQ Couple Set for 67,000 won: salad + Rustic BBQ Platter + myeongnan-ongsimi (pollack roe rice balls) + 2 drinks, with pasta or rice swappable.

How do the myeongnan-ongsimi and the BBQ platter taste?

The salad came out first, drizzled with a balsamic sauce that was refreshing and perfect for waking up the appetite~~

And then the main event — the Rustic BBQ Platter! Pulled pork, ribs, and brisket all on one plate, and the portion was bigger than I expected..?

The myeongnan-ongsimi has pollack roe mixed into a rich cream sauce, so it wasn't greasy at all, and the chewy rice balls went really well with it, ㅠㅠ. I kept scooping more with my spoon. A must-order if you go!!!!

Needless to say, the barbecue was ridiculously good. The meat was so tender that the ribs came off the bone easily with tongs.

Overall, a really satisfying visit! The location is a bit tucked away, but the taste made it worth the trip, and the spacious parking, pretty atmosphere, and generous portions all came together nicely. I especially recommend trying the myeongnan-ongsimi, and if you order the barbecue, definitely try building the burger, haha. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good restaurant in Yongin Yangji, a steak spot in Cheoin-gu, or a restaurant near Everland :)
