Oido grilled clam restaurant with 12 salt-grilled shrimp: Bada Super
In short
Bada Super Haemul Cheonha Jogaegui, Geobukseom Oido Branch is an ocean-view grilled clam restaurant on the 3rd floor of a building on Geobukseom-ro in Siheung, Gyeonggi. A 6pm reservation caught the sunset over a 3-tier grilled clam platter, 12 pieces of salt-grilled giant shrimp, octopus skewers that turned tender after 10 minutes on the grill, and seafood kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) to finish. Grilling with the sea in view makes Bada Super a fitting stop on a drive out to Oido.

Grilled clams 🐚 are a must in cool autumn weather, and I wanted to eat them with a sea view, so I headed to Bada Super Haemul Cheonha Jogaegui, Geobukseom Oido Branch.

Where Bada Super's Geobukseom Oido branch is, and how to book and park
Bada Super Haemul Cheonha Jogaegui, Geobukseom Oido Branch is on the 3rd floor of a building in Geobukseom, Siheung — get off the elevator and the blue wall entrance is right on your left. There are waiting chairs too, so you can sit comfortably if there's a line!

Just from the map you can see the sea is right in front — an ocean view 🌊. It's closed every Monday and open daily until 10pm. There's a break time on weekdays from 3pm to 4:30pm, but apparently none on weekends. There's underground parking in the building, and when full you can use the nearby Ibiza Parking Tower. Naver reservations are available too. We wanted to catch the sunset, so we booked for 6pm and went 😆

Why the window ocean-view seats need a reservation
Here's the interior. Since it was a weekday, there was plenty of space. It's huge with a big seating capacity, and the window side has a single row of tables in a line! The seats right in front of the sea were already down to 1-2 tables. If you want to sit there, reservation is a must!

There's a tank with clams in it, and we grabbed the seat right in front of it! Watching the sun slowly set, the crescent moon that night was so pretty too 🌙 The weather was great, so just looking out made me happy!

They say the broth uses over 40 medicinal ingredients, dried seafood, and vegetables simmered for over 5 hours! A lot of people were having the steamed version. I hesitated for a moment but I'm a grilled-clam person, so I went straight for it haha. There are tips for eating it well too, so check those out!
What's on the menu and what we ordered
Order list

There's a wide range of seafood dishes: clam soup stew, grilled clams, salt-grilled giant shrimp, lobster, seafood kalguksu, whole steamed octopus, whole steamed squid, and more. We debated between the mixed grill for two and shrimp butter grill with lots of tails, but decided bigger is better, so we ordered the salt-grilled giant shrimp (12 pieces)! 🦐

Each table comes set with chogochujang (vinegar-chili sauce) and soy sauce. Basic side dishes include kimchi, pickled chili, sweet corn, and wasabi. You can grab more from the self-serve zone!

What comes on the 3-tier grilled clam platter
Tada~! The main 3-tier grilled clam platter! On top, shrimp, abalone, and scallops. In the middle, cheese scallops with sauce. On the bottom, sword clams and octopus skewers! The stacked visual is insane 😋

We lined them up on the grill. The big clams take a while to open, so we tried grilling them the second way shown in the photo haha. There's also tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) served in a small metal pot — dipping the clams in it like a sauce is so good 😋 And you have to top them with mozzarella cheese too!! Take a bite, look at the sea, repeat, and before you know it, it's all gone 🐽 I really can't quit this stuff.

Salt-grilled giant shrimp, 12 pieces, with butter-grilled heads for 3,000 won
The shrimp grill was set up right next to us too — the shrimp were still flapping around. Sorry, shrimp 🥹 You can add ₩3,000 to get the heads butter-grilled separately, but we were too full and gave that up 😂 Best eaten right away while warm!! Huge thanks to my husband for peeling all the shells for me.

Octopus skewers: 10 minutes on the grill
Leave the octopus skewers (nakji horong-gui) on the grill for 10 minutes and they come out this tender. Rolled up like this, they're fun to eat haha. Totally soft and delicious! My husband said he was too full to eat, so I finished them all myself 🐽

Finishing with seafood kalguksu
Last but not least — you can't skip the seafood kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup). We'd already eaten so much, but it was packed with mussels, red scallops, blue crab, clams, shrimp, and more, and the portion was huge — I was surprised, wondering if this was really meant for two people haha! The noodles were thick and the broth was so good 😋 Finishing with soup left us feeling refreshed.
Bada Super Haemul Cheonha Jogaegui, Geobukseom Oido Branch tastes even better because you can enjoy it right by the sea while watching the sunset. It's the perfect course to come to on a drive and enjoy in a good mood. If you're looking for an ocean-view grilled clam restaurant, this is the place!!
