We arrived 10 minutes before departure, waited out front, and called the owner. Then the owner kindly came out to meet us! We headed straight toward the boat together, and the sun was already setting. So pretty, right? If you want to see the sunset, I think it would be nice to reserve the 7 pm slot. If you're thinking, “I only want night views!” then the 8 pm slot would be great too.

As soon as we boarded, we put on mini life jackets :) A woman kindly told us what to wear, and it turned out she was the person driving the boat?! So cool... Seeing these people suddenly made me want to buy a boat too..

A tidy yacht interior and outdoor seating

Now that we'd looked around the inside of Sailing Paradise, we headed outside where everyone was sitting! I wanted to feel the breeze and see the Han River up close, so we found ourselves seats outside.

Having afternoon tea and then coming straight to ride a Han River yacht—what a truly happy day. My partner likes this kind of activity, but I hadn't really gone along with it much until now... Sorry, honey. But when I secretly booked this as a surprise, my partner loved it so, so much.

Even if you don't rent the whole yacht, I think your boyfriend or girlfriend would really love it if you secretly booked it and brought them along. Just looking at the sunset sky was healing in itself.

Enjoying the Han River with drinks and snacks

The owner at Sailing Paradise, a Seoul Han River yacht-tour date spot, was so kind and even provided delicious drinks and snacks. What I was really worried about was getting seasick, because I get terrible carsickness too. But I didn't feel motion sick at all, which made me even more satisfied!

My partner had to drive, so they couldn't drink, but I had a drink, happily ate the crackers and nuts we were given, listened to the owner's stories, and took in the Han River.

One loop from sunset into night views

At around 7 pm, you set off as the sun is going down, so you can watch it gradually get darker during the ride! When I worked in Yeouido, I disliked the Yeouido view so much, but it looked beautiful from a Han River yacht. Seeing my partner relax and enjoy the breeze made me feel so happy ♥

We were heading back after making one loop, and you can see how dark it got, right? Haha, I just sat quietly at the end of the boat and spaced out. Feeling the breeze and looking at the Han River view made all my stress disappear. Next time, I want to bring my parents too ♥ It was such a happy date.
