If you want a Seoul night-view yacht tour on the Han River, this is the right time! We left at 7 pm, and in August this time slot is truly perfect. The sun is still up when you leave, then it gradually sets and colors the sky as you sail, and by the time you return, you can enjoy the night views too! 🌅

What was really special was seeing both the sunset and the night views in that moment when the sun slips away, rather than only a completely dark nighttime view. If you want a Seoul night-view Han River yacht tour, I strongly recommend a 7 pm departure!

The route from Yeouido to Dangsan and Hapjeong

The Han River yacht-tour route takes about an hour: it leaves Yeouido, heads toward Dangsan and Hapjeong, then returns.

I ride yachts on the Han River from time to time, but this was my first time on this route! It opens up a different Han River scene from the Jamsil and Gangnam side, and seeing Seoul from a fresh perspective felt so different 😊 I loved that we could enjoy a Han River yacht date in Yeouido without having to go all the way to Jamsil or Gangnam!

• Bring a light outer layer—it gets quite breezy on the Han River even in summer.
• I recommend comfortable pants or a long dress—I wore a short dress and it was a little awkward for taking photos, haha.
• Wear comfortable flat shoes to move around the yacht safely!
• Make sure your phone is fully charged—there are so many moments when you will want sunset and night-view photos!

A special hour spent in Yeouido
