Hannam-dong hair salon thinning cut for thick hair: ONLY FOR YOU

Hi, this is Hyunjoy ~ ^_^ My hair is naturally thick and was looking heavy all over, so I went to ONLY FOR YOU Hannam Main Branch for a cut haha. This is actually a repeat visit for me!!!! I went looking for a Hannam-dong hair salon that's big and gives really thorough cut consultations, and that's how I ended up here again ~! This time I kept it simple with a cut only, no perm or dye!!! hahaha

I got my cut from designer Lee Hyun at ONLY FOR YOU Hannam Main Branch!! What impressed me most was how thoroughly he explained everything before cutting ~ It wasn't just deciding how much to cut off — he looked at my hair condition and thickness and explained why he was cutting it this way, step by step haha. After the cut, he even made sure to give me his business card so I could find him easily next time ~~!

Before the cut, you could tell right away how much hair I had haha. I've always had thick hair, so over time it gets heavy and the whole silhouette starts to look dull ~ But he explained that just chopping off a lot of thickness carelessly can make the outer layers fly around or look messy!! So instead of simply cutting length, this time we focused on tidying up the overall weight and texture ~~

When you're getting a service that takes a while, a little touch like this is honestly a nice surprise ~~ My cut didn't take long, but it was still nice to have something to snack on comfortably haha.

What changed after the thinning cut

Looking at the floor, I instantly understood why I always complained my hair felt heavy lol!! Even though it was just a cut, the amount of hair that came off was seriously huge ~ But the strange thing is, even after removing that much, my hair didn't look sparse or thin from the outside haha. The thickness was definitely reduced, but keeping the overall shape intact was the point Designer Lee Hyun had explained from the start ~~!

From the back, my hair falls noticeably lighter than before the cut ~! Even with so much thickness removed, the ends never got too thin or flyaway, which I really liked haha.
