Gnocchi penne cream pasta at a Pangyo brunch restaurant: Eight Years

Went for brunch in Baekhyeon-dong for the first time in a while.. visited Eight Years Pangyo!!!!!! Quick review below~

Where to park at Eight Years Pangyo

There is a parking lot but only about 3-4 spots. Weekends get crowded, so I'd recommend using the public parking lot — it's not that far from Eight Years. We circled a few times and got lucky, snagging a spot in the Eight Years lot!!

Weekend 2pm: no wait and the indoor window seats

There are various seating options inside, 4-seaters and 2-seaters, and the space was bigger than I expected! We visited around 2pm and worried there'd be no seats since it was a weekend, but the interior was spacious enough that we got seated right away without waiting :):):):):)

Floor-to-ceiling windows and potted plants everywhere give it an open, healing feeling!!! The kitchen is open-style too, so it was fun to watch. Looked like a lot of families and couples.

They're also running a photo review event. Write a review and you get a dessert, so keep that in mind~

If you use the public parking lot, you get a 1-hour discount, so don't worry even if you can't park at Eight Years~ Just note that only 1 car per receipt gets the discount!!

The kitchen is open-style, and it's a system where you pick up and return your own food.

Every corner is decorated in a cute, detailed way, so it was fun just to look around.

How to order and what Eight Years Pangyo is known for

You can order via kiosk or in person. A kiosk at a brunch café — how convenient, picking the menu and ordering was easy haha

The menu was quite varied, and here are the signature items they list!!

Indoor seats or outdoor terrace: where should you sit?

We kept going back and forth on whether to eat indoors or on the outdoor terrace.

Both the indoor space and the outdoor terrace were really pretty!!!!!

The weather had warmed up, so we decided to eat outside haha

The terrace is just as pretty as the inside! There's a walking path right in front, so we ate while enjoying the view.

How the gnocchi penne cream pasta and shrimp brunch plate tasted

We ordered the gnocchi penne cream pasta, shrimp brunch, and a caffè latte and iced tea!!

A generous shrimp brunch plate. Grilled shrimp, sausage, onion, pineapple, lettuce salad, scrambled eggs, and even ciabatta!!!!! So many components, it was fun both to eat and to look at.

The look was great, and of course the taste was too, but above all the portion was really generous!! You can see how big the plate is.. The gnocchi penne cream pasta had a fantastic combo of chewy gnocchi, pasta noodles, and cream sauce. There were mushrooms and broccoli mixed in too — vegetables I don't usually love, but with the cream sauce they were genuinely delicious~

Eating a hearty, delicious brunch on the outdoor terrace in cool weather was truly healing.

They thoughtfully gave us ketchup and strawberry jam, but we forgot about them and only noticed after finishing everything.....😪 Still, it was delicious even without the ketchup and jam haha

Looking at it again, the visuals are amazing~~

The outdoor terrace has trees and potted plants, and there's a walking path right outside, so it felt very lush and green. Now that the weather's warmed up, I'd definitely recommend visiting and having a meal on the terrace~
