Late-night lamb dinner near Mullae Station, Seoul: Yangnam Yanghwa

I finished up some business in Mullae and was about to head home when — wait, what's this seriously good-looking lamb restaurant on the street???!! It just opened, so the place is super clean and the vibe is great, perfect for a date too! Staff grill everything for you and explain each cut so kindly, I walked out full and happy — and it's an unlimited lamb refill spot too?! Let me introduce this great-value lamb restaurant in Yeongdeungpo!

Where is Yangnam Yanghwa, and what is it like at 10pm?

Yangnam Yanghwa is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Mullae Station, down the alley! It's also open until midnight, which was great since I got there almost at 10pm after finishing my schedule, and they still welcomed me warmly haha.

Can you see it...? The exterior is so pretty, right??? It gave off such a luxurious feel that I walked in carefully haha, the atmosphere made me feel like I was somewhere fun and exciting!

Bar seats with partitions at Yangnam Yanghwa

Yangnam Yanghwa is set up with bar tables, and each seat is partitioned off so you can enjoy things a bit more privately! Most lamb restaurants are all open seating, so the owner's thoughtful touch really stood out^^

Once I sat down, the kitchen right behind was clearly visible and it was so spotless! That really boosted my trust in the place!

I noticed something in the distance from my seat and wondered what it was — turns out the atmosphere there was amazing too! But get this, it's just the way to the restroom haha. It's built right into the restaurant so outsiders can't access it, but it felt like stepping outside?! Honestly, I'd give the restroom cleanliness a perfect 100 out of 100! There's even air conditioning inside so it stays cool too! Genuinely spotless, not a speck of dust... I've never seen a restaurant with such a clean restroom.

Yangnam Yanghwa menu and prices: the 38,900 won lamb set

Here's the Yangnam Yanghwa menu! There's just one single set menu, the Premium Lamb Dining! They grill premium lamb rack and T-bone steak, plus vegetables and fruit! And best of all, meat refills are FREE... is that even allowed? For under 40,000 won per person, is there really another place where you can eat unlimited lamb rack and T-bone steak haha. The side dishes are also a great combo — ramyeon, bibim guksu, garlic rice — and they have all kinds of drinks too, regular and premium soju, highballs, and more!

Eight sauces and a welcome drink

After ordering, the basic sauces and sides came out quickly! Onion, pickled peppers, radish strips, salt, cumin, wasabi, mint jelly, and soy-chili sauce were lined up in a row — having so many sauces meant I never got tired of the flavors, and topping the meat with pepper especially refreshed my palate haha.

They also serve a welcome drink! It's around 2-3% alcohol with lemon mixed in, they said! Refreshingly sweet and delicious! It tasted similar to a lemon sour. And then the charcoal comes right out!!

Galbisal, ribeye and T-bone steak grilled by staff

The meat has arrived T_T It already looks amazing, right...? The galbisal and T-bone steak came out!

They laid it all out like this and kindly explained each cut! They said the part with the fat attached is the ribeye! The texture was seriously crazy, so crisp and springy T_T

They served up the perfectly grilled ribeye piece first — I still can't forget that first bite!! So clean and mild, no lamb smell at all! Why would anyone say they can't eat lamb...? Genuinely puzzling haha. It was so tender that a piece disappeared in no time!

Once the galbisal was fully grilled, the T-bone steak and vegetables went onto the charcoal grill in earnest haha.

The grilling skill was truly max level..! The T-bone steak looked tender just from watching!

Do you know how good it feels when a whole pile of perfectly grilled lamb is stacked in front of your eyes?! Giggling to myself.

My favorite combo was wasabi with a bite of pepper?! The T-bone steak was seriously so tender!! It was hands down the number one cut of the day! Best lamb restaurant in Yeongdeungpo!!!

Bibim myeon with lamb, plus a T-bone refill

Here's the bibim guksu (spicy cold noodles) I ordered on the side?! I figured it would pair well with the lamb, so I ordered it haha. It even came with ice to keep it cool, and after mixing it well, it went so well with the clean-tasting lamb T_T Genuinely found the perfect combo!

They grill all the vegetables too — eggplant, green onion, onion, and mushrooms! My friend, who loved the lamb so much, and I ordered one more T-bone steak, and it came right out haha. Of course, they grilled the extra meat for us too!

I really ate lamb to my heart's content that day! Being able to eat unlimited meat like this makes it hard to enjoy lamb rack this freely elsewhere, so it was such a happy dinner! To eat this much anywhere else would cost a fortune, but Yangnam Yanghwa is unbeatable value too!

Lastly, they grilled some fruit for a nice palate cleanser, and served dessert separately too! Citrus sherbet! It felt so refreshing to clear my mouth after all that lamb, and I really loved it! It was Yangnam Yanghwa, where I got to enjoy lamb rack to my heart's content after a long time! The atmosphere, the kindness, and the cleanliness are all top tier, so it seems like a great place for a date or to treat someone! And on top of everything, the value of unlimited lamb...
