The weather's been getting cooler and my appetite's dipped a bit lately, so I was craving something hearty and clean-tasting — Korean food! So I headed over to Sambaekga, a well-known spot near Sindorim Station.

It's a 4-minute walk from Exit 1 of Sindorim Station, on the 1st floor of the Sindorim Prugio 1st Complex building (the same building as Homeplus), so it's easy to find 👍🏻👍🏻
The accessibility near Sindorim Station was great, and the interior was spacious and comfortable — a perfect spot for a lunch gathering or a company dinner in the area!

Turns out Sindorim Sambaekga is a family brand under the headquarters of 'The Jokbal,' a well-known jokbal (pork trotters) spot in Sindorim?! I really enjoyed The Jokbal, so I couldn't wait to see how good this place would be too... 😳 Looking at the menu with high expectations, I found not just bossam and jokbal but a huge variety of set meals!
We wanted to try a bit of everything, so we ordered a solid lineup of the signature dishes 😉 Sundubu jjigae bossam set (₩14,900) / Bossam set (₩10,900) / Busan naengchae jokbal (₩34,000)
Self-bar and side dishes
After ordering, I went to check out the self-bar, and found that anyone who ordered kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) could enjoy yeolmu bibimbap (young radish greens mixed rice)! I made a mental note to order kalguksu next time and mix it up properly with barley rice too 😋
Before the main dishes arrived, I tasted the side dishes one by one, and every single one was delicious..🤤🤤 The yeolmu kimchi (young radish kimchi) especially was sweet and tangy — totally my style..!! There was a generous spread of side dishes to pair with the bossam!

And now, everyone... here comes the star of the show. I thought this place was just a jokbal and bossam spot, but the sundubu jjigae that came with the set was seriously amazing 🤍🤍!!
Apparently they stir-fry minced pork themselves to make the broth — it was spicy in that satisfying way, with a depth and richness that really hit the spot... I never expected to fall for a sundubu jjigae at a bossam restaurant..👏🏻👏🏻
The bossam served alongside had zero gaminess and was soft and moist — paired with the side dishes, I couldn't stop eating haha. I liked it so much I'd want to order the sundubu jjigae bossam set again next time — a must-try bossam spot and sundubu jjigae spot in Sindorim!!
Bossam set, ₩10,900 — great for a Sindorim lunch?
Next, the bossam set is a great value option — perfect as a Sindorim lunch spot for office workers in the area!
Given how prices are these days, it's hard to find this much food for this price — the bossam portion was really generous, and it came with doenjang guk (soybean paste soup) too, so if you're looking for a hearty, good-value lunch near Sindorim Station, I'd absolutely recommend this bossam set!
Busan naengchae jokbal, ₩34,000
Lastly, I ordered the naengchae jokbal (cold seasoned pork trotters) because I remembered enjoying a small taste of it as a free sample at The Jokbal! Apparently it uses a secret cold-sauce recipe from a Chosun Hotel chef — on a big plate, the jokbal, sliced cucumber, egg garnish, and seasoned jellyfish were piled up like a tower, and it was seriously eye-catching!
Mix the sauce well and grab a bite of the jokbal with the vegetables all at once — that tangy kick is truly excellent! If you're looking for a jokbal-bossam spot in Sindorim, you absolutely have to try this naengchae jokbal too 🤗
Topping the boiled bossam pork with crunchy, spicy baechu geotjeori (fresh cabbage kimchi), pairing it with buchu muchim (seasoned chives), and adding the tangy jellyfish naengchae jokbal... honestly, every combination was a total win
Would I go back?
It's been a while since I was this satisfied — Sindorim Sambaekga, a must-visit spot near Sindorim Station!! I'll definitely be back soon, already craving that spicy sundubu jjigae and the great-value bossam set 😊
