Egg Benedict and corn cream gnocchi for two at Eggroom, an Indeokwon brunch café

I went to Eggroom, a brunch spot everyone raves about in Dongpyeon-maeul, Anyang~! For parking I'd recommend the lot behind the store or a nearby public parking lot!

The vibe and terrace at Eggroom in Dongpyeon-maeul, Indeokwon

Eggroom sits in Dongpyeon-maeul, Indeokwon! The interior was all yellow tones and bright thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. On a nice-weather day like this, eating on the terrace out front looked really lovely too.

There was a standing sign out front with the menu so you could browse before going in! Eggroom's popular enough to have a wait at peak times, so checking the menu while you wait works out haha.

Hours and brunch time

Eggroom, the brunch spot in Dongpyeon-maeul, is open 10am to 7pm, and brunch time runs from 10:30 to 14:30!

Maybe because of the floor-to-ceiling windows, Eggroom was a bright, sun-filled space! It was a white-and-wood combination store. There were about 7 to 8 tables!

What we ordered as a pair

The coffee came out first! Iced Americano is really the best with brunch. Since the brunch dishes are cooked to order, the coffee arrived first and the food came about 10 minutes later!

The plating at Eggroom was so pretty,,, 👍🏻

There were two of us so we ordered the two most signature dishes: egg Benedict and corn cream gnocchi! Seriously, you absolutely have to order these two. The combination is so good.

Egg Benedict ₩15,000

Egg Benedict that genuinely looked so delicious 🍳 It came with mushrooms, arugula, and shrimp! The shrimp was as savory and delicious as lobster.

Need I even mention the egg freshness. The yolk was this deep orange color — totally fresh eggs!

Corn cream gnocchi ₩17,000

And the other best-menu item, corn cream gnocchi! The gnocchi was crisp yet soft and so tasty, and the cream had such crazy umami we scraped it right off the bottom of the plate. Eggroom really is the brunch spot in Dongpyeon-maeul, Anyang!

Scoop up corn, gnocchi and cream together in one spoonful and imagine how good that tastes.

If I go again

Eggroom has a terrace too, so eating out there on a nice day would be lovely. Next time I want to come with two or more people, or a bigger group, and try every single menu item! Egg Benedict and corn cream gnocchi will be a must again, of course. If you're looking for a brunch spot in Dongpyeon-maeul, I fully recommend Eggroom!
