Yeonnam-dong hand-drip café, Welch's-note Caturra Honey: Central Site
In short
Central Site Yeonnam is a three-floor hand-drip café in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul, a short walk from Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station. From a bean lineup that changes each season, the writer smelled the beans at the first-floor drip bar before ordering Guatemala Entre Volcanes Washed for 8,000 won and Colombia Campo Hermoso Caturra Honey for 10,000 won, plus a classic tiramisu for 8,500 won. With choices running from acidity-free beginner cups to a Welch's-grape specialty, Central Site Yeonnam is an easy recommendation for hand-drip lovers.

Where is Central Site Yeonnam? A walk from Hongik Univ. Station Exit 3

Central Site Yeonnam sits along the main road if you walk from Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station, past the Donggyodong intersection, straight toward Yeonnam-dong. Being right on the main street made it easy to find.

Drip bar on 1F, hall on 2F, rooftop on 3F
This Yeonnam-dong café spans three floors: the first floor has ordering and the drip bar plus bar tables, the second floor has hall tables and the restroom, and the third floor is a rooftop!

There was also a little self-serve nook next to the seats with water and tissues.

A seasonal bean lineup from 8,000 to 25,000 won
And the menu! Central Site Yeonnam changes its hand-drip bean lineup by season, so you can pick beans that suit the time of year. When I visited, there were coffees with jasmine, orange, and lemon notes, and the one that surprised me most — grape, candy, and Welch's-grape notes. There was also an Ethiopian coffee with strawberry, jasmine, nectarine, malic acid, apricot, and melon notes. Hand-drip coffee prices ranged widely, from ₩8,000 to ₩25,000.

Besides hand-drip coffee, this Yeonnam-dong café is also known for its tiramisu — and the size is huge! There's classic tiramisu, brownie tiramisu, Lotus tiramisu, strawberry tiramisu, and more.
What we ordered at Central Site Yeonnam
- Guatemala Entre Volcanes 2026 Washed 8.0 (hazelnut, butterscotch, milk chocolate)
- Colombia Campo Hermoso Caturra Honey Grape Mosto Co-fermentation 10.0 (grape, candy, Welch's-grape, tropical fruit)
- Classic Tiramisu 8.5
- Chocolate Cookie 2.0
Drip bags and whole beans to take home

They also sell drip bags and beans in 100g and 200g bags!

Smelling the beans and watching the brew at the hand-drip bar
Inside the first floor of Central Site Yeonnam, there's a hand-drip bar. All the beans from the menu are lined up. Once you order and sit at the drip bar, you get to smell your chosen beans and watch the early part of the brewing process up close. The Welch's-grape coffee genuinely smelled like the actual Welch's grape drink — so wild.

Second-floor tables and window seats
This is the second floor! There are regular tables and bar tables too.

Sitting at the window seat with the best view, sipping hand-drip coffee while reading a book, would be so, so nice.

Guatemala Washed vs. Colombia Caturra Honey: how they taste
They bring over the coffee you ordered and smelled once you're settled at your seat, which is nice. The coffee on the left is the Guatemala, and the one on the right is the Colombia Welch's-grape coffee! The Guatemala Entre Volcanes Washed is the definition of clean — no acidity, nutty. Recommended if you want a smooth, savory coffee. It's a classic that's hard to dislike, so I'd recommend it to beginners too.
The Colombia Campo Hermoso Caturra Honey Grape Mosto Co-fermentation smelled exactly like Welch's grape, but once I actually drank it, it felt more like wine than Welch's! It has more acidity and fruitiness than the Guatemala, so I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to try something special.

The classic tiramisu, 8,500 won
We ordered the classic tiramisu, and the chocolate on top was delicious — it was tiramisu through and through. The base underneath was also moist and tasty!
Is Central Site Yeonnam worth a visit?
If you love hand-drip coffee, you'll really, really love this place. There are also crowd-pleasing beans for hand-drip beginners, so I recommend Central Site Yeonnam!
