Italian restaurant in Misa, Hanam: steak set for three, diavolo pizza
In short
Bokkeriu is an Italian restaurant on Misadong-ro in Hanam, Gyeonggi, right in front of the Han River walking path. Three of us drove out on a fall evening, ordered the steak set for 3 with a whole diavolo pizza added, chose truffle mushroom pasta as the pasta course, and ate through everything from corn soup to Basque cheesecake. Between the floor-to-ceiling Han River view and the well-stocked set, Bokkeriu is worth booking for a Hanam date night or family dinner.

Bokkeriu: an Italian restaurant with Han River views in Misa, Hanam
Bokkeriu is an Italian restaurant at 102-19 Misadong-ro, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do, right in front of the Han River walking path. On a cool fall evening we went for a drive around Misa, Hanam, and this was the restaurant we stopped at for dinner.
Isn't the weather amazing these days? 🍂 It felt like too nice a season to waste, so we went for a drive.

I'd heard it was a restaurant with Han River views, and visiting in person, the view was great and so was the food — very satisfying. It's a perfect drive-and-outing spot on a nice day, so if you're looking for a date spot in Hanam or somewhere just outside Seoul, check out today's review!

Window seats with a full Han River view, and the group tables
Bokkeriu started under the name 'True Nang' before becoming today's Bokkeriu, an Italian restaurant. The moment I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the floor-to-ceiling window taking up one whole wall 💙 The Han River opens up beyond the glass, so even indoors there's no sense of being closed in, and there's a walking path right in front of the restaurant that would be nice for a stroll after the meal.
The overall interior is warm wood tones, giving it a calm, tidy feel, and wine bottles are used as accents throughout, which gives it that distinctive Italian-restaurant mood too~~🍷
The window seats, where you can eat while looking out at the Han River, were especially nice, and there's separate group seating too, so it looks good for a Hanam date as well as family gatherings or special-occasion meals.

What to order for three: the steak set plus a diavolo pizza
Bokkeriu Hanam steak set
Since there were three of us and we wanted to try a bit of everything, we ordered the steak set and added a whole pizza on top. For pasta we picked the truffle mushroom pasta, and for drinks we ordered a refreshing grapefruit ade and mango ade 🍹 The à la carte items are good too, but I'd recommend the set menu for the chance to try a bit of everything!

First courses: corn soup and focaccia with kelp butter
For starters, corn soup and focaccia bread with kelp butter 🥐🧈 The soup comes with the set, and the focaccia is the complimentary bread.
The corn soup had a clearly deeper flavor than the usual store-bought kind — probably because it's made by grinding fresh corn — and the moment I took a bite, a mellow, nutty corn aroma spread through my mouth~🌽
The focaccia that came with it had an appealingly fluffy texture, and the savory, mild bread combined with the salty, umami-rich kelp butter made even the pre-meal bread genuinely delicious.

The ricotta cheese salad at Bokkeriu
The ricotta cheese salad really stood out for its freshness. On a base of assorted fresh vegetables, it was loaded with croutons, walnuts, and almonds for a crunchy, nutty texture, and the ricotta cheese was so soft and sweet it felt like it wrapped the fresh vegetables in creaminess.

Diavolo wood-fired pizza: how spicy is it?
Next up was the diavolo pizza, topped with chorizo, house-made sausage, and bacon 🍕 Being wood-fired, it had a clean, mild base flavor, but then the spiciness of the peperoncino kicked in hard, making it distinctly different from a regular pizza!!!

The dough itself was chewy, and with the plump house-made sausage and bacon on top, there was a nice range of textures. The mild wood-fired dough plus the spiciness meant it never got heavy, and I kept reaching for more.

My top pick at Bokkeriu: truffle mushroom pasta
My personal favorite that day was Bokkeriu's truffle mushroom pasta. The rich truffle aroma hit me the second it arrived, and the deep flavor won me over with the first bite. With pine mushroom, shiitake, and oyster mushroom all in the mix, you could pick up on each mushroom's subtly different texture and flavor 🍄

In particular, the wide, thick pappardelle held onto the sauce beautifully, giving it a really rich, satisfying flavor. ⭐️Truffle mushroom pasta: recommended⭐️ If you go to Bokkeriu in Hanam, you have to order this one!

Korean beef striploin steak, cooked medium rare
The Korean beef striploin steak was a showstopper just to look at 🥩 We ordered it medium rare, and the doneness was exactly right!

The outside was seared crisp while the inside stayed moist and tender, and with the first bite you could really taste that deep beefy flavor along with the firm, dense texture typical of striploin.

The steak had great flavor on its own, but the generous serving of grilled red onion, mushroom, and bell pepper alongside it made the dish even more satisfying. Eating a bite of meat together with the grilled vegetables brought out the mild flavor even more — a really good pairing with the steak.
Dessert: Basque cheesecake
The set was so filling we were already stuffed, but you can't skip dessert, right? Bokkeriu's Basque cheesecake has a dense, rich character 🧀 The moment I took a bite, that deep, nutty cheese flavor came through strongly, and it was so good.
With just the right amount of sweetness balanced against the rich cheese flavor, it let us finish the meal on a happy note even while completely full.
Is Bokkeriu worth it for a Hanam date night? Final thoughts
With such a generous set composition and varied menu, Bokkeriu in Hanam felt like great value for an ✨Italian restaurant in Hanam✨. As a spot that's long been loved as a local favorite in Hanam, you could really taste the depth and quality of the ingredients, and with the Han River view on top of it, we could relax and enjoy the whole meal.
Next time I'd like to pair the Italian dishes with a glass of wine. If you're looking for a good restaurant in Misa, Hanam, or a Hanam date course, definitely check out Bokkeriu, a Western/Italian restaurant in Hanam~😋
