Here to introduce a place that's great for dates in Boram-dong, great for wedding-invitation gatherings or meeting friends, and great for family meals too. The atmosphere is so nice that honestly anyone you bring here will be happy haha.
But,, you can't go somewhere just for the atmosphere, right? If the food's bad, a nice vibe alone won't cut it..ㅠㅠ This place is a genuine hit with pasta made from fresh ingredients, a signature potato soup, and oven-fired pizza!! haha Let's start the review.
Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch hours and reservations
Open daily 11:00–20:30, with a break time from 15:00–17:00, and last order at 14:20 and 19:50.
Reservations are possible through Naver Reservation, starting from 2 people. Group bookings run from 9 to 34 people. The place is pretty spacious, so group reservations are doable. Sejong has a lot of public corporations and government agencies, so it seems like a good spot for office workers' group dinners.
Plus, if you make a Naver Reservation and just leave a review, you get a homemade fruit ade. Obviously better to reserve, right?! And.. once evening hits it gets crowded, so booking ahead felt like the safer bet ><
Where to park?
There's basement parking in the building. Like most neighborhoods in Sejong, parking is tight around here, so it was nice to park comfortably in the building's basement.

The menu is really varied — pizza, pasta, risotto, salad, you name it. Perfect for a group ordering a mix of dishes... And besides the à la carte items, there's a two-person set with soup & baguette, one pasta, one pizza, and two drinks, so if there are two of you, the set menu is the one I recommend❣️
Signature potato soup and baguette
Of course I ordered the set

The potato soup and baguette came out first,, and it was totally my type lol not a thin, watery potato soup, but with a slightly rich, silky texture — how did they get the seasoning this right.. It's good on its own, and even better dipped with the baguette.

There's plenty of croutons, bacon, and parsley in the potato soup.. it really wakes up your appetite haha personally I think it beats Outback's potato soup!

How does the homemade lasagna taste?
For the pasta in the set, I chose the homemade lasagna

The lasagna's visuals are insane lol the tomato sauce is bursting with savory depth, and the cheese takes the flavor up another notch..

Burrata margherita pizza, non-alcoholic wine, and corkage
For the pizza in the set, I picked the burrata margherita! Once everything arrived I snapped a shot of the whole spread.. looking at the photo again makes me want to eat it all over lol Ordering the set means drinks come too, and it definitely feels generous.
I had a non-alcoholic white wine that day, and its slight sweetness paired really well with the lasagna! Since Olivus Compagno also allows corkage, next time I want to bring a wine I love and pair it with the steak.

The lasagna's layers of meat, pasta sheets and cheese go so well with the tomato sauce haha as I cut into it with a knife, the thick layers made it clear the ingredients weren't skimped on.

And the pizza's topped with basil and burrata, so even though it's pizza, it looks really fresh.

Cutting into the burrata cheese and eating it with the pizza together... I get why Olivus Compagno is so loved by so many people in Sejong. This is a flavor you need to eat regularly.
Some people say pizza leaves them feeling bloated, but here the dough is just the right thickness and the cheese is fresh, so it shouldn't feel heavy haha

Interior and going with kids
The interior is clean and pretty, making it great for dates or gatherings. It's also a kid-friendly restaurant with baby chairs and kids' tableware ready to go.

If you're looking for a good Italian restaurant in Boram-dong, definitely worth a visit! I'll be going back to try the dishes I haven't had yet.
