Why I went back for another damaged hair clinic

Last year I got a Cinderella clinic thinking it would improve my hair condition, but it actually made the damage worse, so I've been getting regular clinics to manage it since. With damage piling up, my hair barely combs through, and even after a clinic it gets dry again within a few weeks — periodic care is basically essential. My hair was right at the point of losing all its nutrients again, so I went to Uahan Meori Wangsimni Centras Branch for a proper damaged hair treatment!

Closed every Monday, open daily from 10am to 8pm including weekends, so I visited comfortably on a weekend. There's a kids' chair, so you can bring your child, and free parking is available too.

This Wangsimni hair salon sits between Sindang Station and Sangwangsimni Station, about a 7-minute walk.

I came in from Sangwangsimni Station into Wangsimni Centras~

It's located on the 1st floor of H-dong. From outside it looks like the 2nd floor, but the actual ground level is marked as a deck floor, so what looks like the 2nd floor is labeled '1F.' Just think of it as the 2nd floor and head up the stairs haha.

The interior atmosphere

The ceilings are high and the lighting bright, so it feels really sleek and clean! It's basically a space where you can heal while getting your hair done~ The treatment area looks comfortable too haha.

How the 3-step damaged hair clinic works

Right after the check, I moved to the shampoo room.

It's the same interior I'd seen in the middle of the salon, but lying down and looking up at it somehow felt really relaxing haha.

Step 1 of the clinic, shampoo, began. Today's clinic runs in 3 total steps.

After washing away buildup with a clinic-only shampoo, they carefully applied a step-1 treatment to replenish moisture in the dry hair.

Then they opened the hair cuticle so the moisture particles could penetrate deep, and started the first mist steamer treatment. While I waited, they even brought a neck pillow — the staff were really kind!

After the first steam session ended, they rinsed lightly with water and calmly combed out the tangled hair.

Next, they carefully applied the second protein treatment by hand, pressing it deep into the hair, then went into the second steam session. I got the neck pillow again and relaxed haha.

Once the steamer time was up, they rinsed it out lightly and finished up. Even just rinsing with water, I could already feel the difference — my hair slid through my fingers instead of the stiff, dry feeling from before haha.

Once it was all dried, my hair was genuinely so calm haha.

Before and after — how much did the damaged hair change?

In the before photo (left), you can see how cumulative damage from that old Cinderella clinic left the ends severely dry and puffed up. It would tangle instantly with combing and had zero moisture. After today's 3-step clinic (right), the ends that used to split from dryness are now calm and settled, and there's an overall smooth shine that looks healthy. Even the feel of it under my hand is completely different haha.

I have to head to my client's office soon, and I think I can go in looking neat and put-together.
