During weekend afternoon peak hours there's usually a wait, so I'd recommend putting your name down and browsing nearby while you wait. Basically every well-known café in Mangwon-dong had a wait at that time... ㅠㅠ

Seating at PICT Roastery is mostly for two

Wood tables and chairs with white tones added made the space look spacious and clean. Seating was mostly 2-seat tables and window bar seats, and if you're a party of three, you can add an extra chair. There were a lot of couples, and most people came in twos. I quickly snapped a photo when a table opened up ,,🎆

Since they roast with both espresso and brewing in mind, there's naturally a range from nutty to bright acidity. If you're a coffee enthusiast looking for a good coffee shop in Mangwon, this is worth a visit. The lineup changes monthly and quarterly, so you'd get a different coffee experience on a return visit. I chose the acidic bean, and the iced americano wasn't overwhelmingly acidic, but left a clean brightness in the aftertaste. If you're looking for bright acidity coffee in Mangwon-dong, this is easy to enjoy and a decent entry point into acidic coffee.

Why the mint lemonade is worth ordering

The mint lemonade is a menu I'd personally recommend 🍋 I drank it when I was a bit tired from walking, and the tangy, refreshing flavor with strong carbonation lifted my mood the moment I drank it.

And the fox(?) motif changes depending on the menu item — I found it while checking out the cups, so cute haha ✴️

Kyoto matcha Basque cheesecake, and the sold-out French toast

I'd heard this place was famous for French toast in Mangwon-dong and wanted to try it, but ••• it was sold out, so unfortunately I didn't get to taste it. Instead, the Kyoto matcha Basque cheesecake I ordered was good enough to rank among the best Basque cheesecakes I've had recently! The creaminess was just right and the cheese flavor was rich enough that I found myself wanting a whole cake ,,,, ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The pistachio cake looked good too, so I'd like to try it with a different bean on my next visit. The dessert lineup isn't huge, but every item they do have felt solid.
