I went shopping at Namdaemun Market, which is super popular these days, and the original plan was to eat gamagol mandu (dumplings) or hotteok (sweet pancakes), but there were sooo many people it just wasn't happening...!

While I was wandering around craving a sandwich and coffee, I found a really good-looking sandwich place at Seoul Station, which was also conveniently on my way home, so — gogo!

In the end, I'm so glad I skipped the hotteok and mandu and went to Dance Dance Dance instead ✨

Dance Dance Dance is on basement level 3 of Grand Central at Seoul Station! You can enter through the main entrance and go down, or take the escalator right next to the main entrance for a quicker route 💃🏼

Honestly I already knew about Dance Dance Dance from Instagram — their sandwiches are insanely photogenic! It's already hot and well known 👍

Seriously, this is crazy — I want to try everything 😎 A fig and pistachio combo with matcha..!? Even a chocolate baguette — every trendy sandwich right now seems to be here at Dance Dance Dance 👀🩷

How quiet is Dance Dance Dance at 4pm, and what seats are there?

I went around the awkward hour of 4pm and luckily it was quiet! There was plenty of seating with tables for 2–4 people.

Ordering at the kiosk: what's on the menu

You order at the kiosk! There are sandwiches plus dessert options, and they even had a separate decaf coffee menu, which I loved!

They happened to have a set menu, so I went with the Dance Brunch Set 🫧 You can choose baguette or ciabatta for the sandwich! I personally love ciabatta sandwiches, so I went with ciabatta 🤍 (Baguette always scrapes up the roof of my mouth 😱)

They had the baguette and ciabatta ingredients on display, plus a cod roe baguette and scones! I was kind of curious about the cod roe baguette, hehe

I bet the hot ham and cheese is totally my style too... hoho

They called my order number and I picked it right up! The Dance Brunch Set comes with sandwich + mushroom soup + coffee, so it's great for a full meal!

The mushroom soup had a lot of mushrooms in it and was soft and savory, so I completely licked the bowl clean, hehe 🥣 The portion was plenty even eating solo.

My sandwich swapped for ciabatta 🥪 There were so many temptations — pistachio, matcha, chocolate — but I ended up craving something basic like this, and it was totally the right choice, hehe. The ciabatta was fluffy and soft, and the cheese + ham + lettuce combo tasted exactly like I imagined, which made me so happy 🩵

I went through the sandwich → coffee → soup loop over and over, so delicious 🤭

But honestly, the coffee was totally my style ㅠㅠ❤️ The bean flavor was really fresh, and it had a non-acidic style that paired perfectly with the bread — an iced Americano that met every one of my expectations. Dance Dance Dance 💃🏼❤️🔥

Worth it for a light meal near Seoul Station?

Sandwich + mushroom soup + coffee — a satisfying meal, cleared 🥪🍄☕️ I went in thinking I'd eat light, but it filled me up more than expected, and having warm mushroom soup plus coffee alongside was a really good combination!
