Porcini shrimp gnocchi at Seongsu Western restaurant Brivite Seongsu

Brivite Seongsu — cute rabbit pasta, crispy-outside-chewy-inside gnocchi, and a great date-course pasta spot in Seongsu-dong.

Today's Seongsu-dong food tour took me to Brivite Seongsu, which has been all over Instagram and Naver lately haha. From the bright pink exterior to the cute interior details and even cuter-looking dishes — it's the Western-style restaurant everyone recommends for a Seongsu date!!

How to find Brivite Seongsu and what the room feels like

Brivite Seongsu is at 5-1 Sangwon 6-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea, 1st floor, 252m from Ttukseom Station Exit 4. Hours are 11:30 - 21:15.

The hot pink entrance grabs your eye right away 🩷🎀 Inside, it's warm and full of European-style wood-tone charm haha. The seating is spaced out nicely too, making it a great spot for a Seongsu-dong date or a hangout with friends!!

Brivite Seongsu menu: what comes in the set for two

Besides à la carte dishes, the Brivite Seongsu menu has two set options for two people: the Bri Set for ₩70,200, and the Beet Set for ₩50,700.

Looking through the menu, there were well-put-together set options besides the à la carte dishes haha.

• Bri Set (for two) ₩70,200 — 1 Brivite steak / 1 main (no extra charge for ₩17,900 mains, +₩1,000 for ₩18,900 mains, +₩2,000 for ₩19,900 mains) / 1 side worth ₩10,900 (+₩1,000 if choosing the ₩11,900 Greek yogurt & tomato salad) / 2 drinks worth ₩3,500 (extra charge if you upgrade)

The mains ranged from steak to the signature scallion cream corn gnocchi, rabbit pasta, salmon steak pasta, and Greek yogurt & tomato salad, all looking delicious 🍝 We thought the set for two looked like good value, so we ordered the Beet Set!!

Ta-da!! All three of our dishes arrived ~~ Total eye-candy visuals 😵‍💫😵‍💫 Doesn't it look so delicious ><… The plating alone was gorgeous haha.

Greek yogurt & tomato salad

Brivite Seongsu's Greek yogurt & tomato salad has a refreshing basil oil dressing, sweet potato chips, fresh tomatoes, and rich, thick Greek yogurt on top! It was good enough that I could easily eat a whole salad by myself… If you like salad + yogurt, you have to order this ㅠㅠ

Crazy good looks and crazy good taste!! The basil leaf on top made the plating even lovelier 💚 Anyway, this dish is a must-try!

Porcini shrimp gnocchi: how the handmade gnocchi tasted

Being handmade, the porcini shrimp gnocchi was properly crispy outside and chewy inside! The exterior was golden and fried-crisp, while the inside was chewy and soft like rice cake — so delicious 👍🏻

The deep, rich mushroom cream sauce and plump shrimp made it perfect..💯 The salad was great, but the gnocchi was just as great.. sneaking in another recommendation for this one too....

Hopping rabbit pasta

The rabbit pasta is a tomato pasta topped with mozzarella cheese shaped adorably like a rabbit. I've never seen such a cute pasta in my life lol. Isn't it just too cute…. Taste-wise, it was the tomato pasta flavor everyone knows and loves!!! Delicious as expected ~~ 🐰🩷

Visiting tips and verdict on Brivite Seongsu

It wasn't just pretty visuals — the pasta and gnocchi themselves tasted excellent, so I was really satisfied! Every dish we ordered was a hit, which made me curious about the rest of the menu!! I'm planning to come back and try other dishes.
