Hi, this is Dadass 🍗 It's been a while — I went and enjoyed the terrace at Kkanbu Chicken Nambu Terminal Branch, the restaurant that's become so famous for our 'Kkanbu meetups.' Of course this wasn't actually our usual Kkanbu meetup spot..! But it's our own Kkanbu meetup hahaha.
It's that perfect crisp autumn weather right now, so if you're looking for a clean, not-too-crowded terrace with great food instead of a packed one, pay attention to Kkanbu Chicken Nambu Terminal Branch :) It's a station-adjacent chicken terrace spot, just 1 minute on foot from Nambu Terminal Station on Line 3.

Kkanbu Chicken Nambu Terminal Branch sits right in front of Nambu Terminal Station — the kind of chicken place with a terrace you find yourself glancing at every time you pass. Great vibe for meetups, work dinners, or dates.
The indoor tables are wider and more numerous, so group gatherings tend to happen inside. Even on a weekday evening, seats filled up fast at Kkanbu Nambu Terminal, indoors and outdoors alike.

Tasting the Kkanbu Crispy Six Pack and Cajun Potatoes

First off, they give you two forks per person to make the chicken easy to eat, plus a complimentary corn snack on the side.
The Cajun potatoes were thin but crispy and really tasty. I kept reaching for more — glad I ordered it.
The Kkanbu Crispy Six Pack comes as a whole chicken cut into six generously sized pieces. It has that old-school fried chicken feel, crisped up nicely. I thought it would be all wing bbong, but it actually included breast meat too.
Since it's a classic fried whole chicken at heart, it's tasty even with just a dip of salt, but the chili sauce gives it a nice kick in between bites too.
And the wing pieces are seriously huge. The frying was so well done that a friend trying Kkanbu Chicken for the first time said she gets why Jensen Huang keeps coming back for it hahaha.
The breast meat wasn't dry at all — it was quite tender, and even I, a thigh-meat person, enjoyed it a lot.
The weather... temperature... humidity... light... everything was perfect at this Nambu Terminal Station terrace chicken restaurant, Kkanbu Chicken Nambu Terminal Branch. You'll need to go now to catch the same vibe I did. Go grab chimaek on the terrace soon~~
Other chicken options on the Kkanbu menu
This garlic rotisserie chicken(?) accidentally showed up at our table. I'd definitely ordered the Kkanbu Crispy Six Pack, but when a chicken that didn't look crispy arrived, I asked and found out it belonged to the guys at the table next to us hahaha. Thanks to that, I got to check out some other chicken too...
Coincidentally, I ended up at Kkanbu Chicken again for round two at a gathering the next day. Not the same branch, but here's a look at more of the menu anyway — this was Garlic Soy Chicken (bone-in), and the sauce was delicious. For fried-chicken fans, I'd recommend the Crispy Boneless or the Crispy Six Pack; for seasoned-chicken fans, the Garlic Soy Chicken or Hot BBQ Chicken.
Patio conveniences: mosquito coils, phone charging and restrooms
Since it's an outdoor terrace at Kkanbu Chicken Nambu Terminal Branch, there were a few mosquitoes around, but they immediately lit mosquito coils for us and even offered phone charging — you could tell this was a place that really looks after its guests.
For restrooms, there's a building restroom just outside the door of Kkanbu Chicken that you can use. It's gender-separated.
