The walk from Sindang Station Exit 8

The restaurant sits right in front of Sindang Station Exit 8! Go one block and turn left, and it's right there — super easy to find.

We booked for 5:30 PM and the owner had everything set up for us already! It also seemed like there were plenty of regulars, since he was chatting away with other customers — honestly made me want to become a regular too (haha).

The grill-side side dishes

Kimchi, potatoes, and green onions to grill alongside the meat, plus what looked like house-made sauces and pickled side dishes! You know how good meat really only needs salt… I'll say it now — the pork belly here doesn't need anything else, just salt. Ugh, so good…

What's on the menu

Here's the menu! There are set menus, and hanwoo can also be ordered by cut — skirt steak, hanging tender, chuck flap, short rib meat, brisket point~ For handon, you can order pork jowl, skirt, belly, neck, or flash-frozen belly!

For sides, there's hamburger, seafood doenjang stew, yukhoe (beef tartare), beef sashimi, fire chicken, jjagyechi, sujebi soup, kimchi noodles, old-school lunchbox… so much variety. Looks like they've really done everything possible with hanwoo and handon 👏

So that day we ordered 3 servings of frozen pork belly and kimchi noodles! They said the pork belly is processed with -40°C blast freezing.

Origin labels and Taebaek kimchi

Checking the origin labels, the beef, pork, rice, and kimchi were all Korean-sourced, which was really nice~ haha. Especially the kimchi, which was properly sour — they said it's Taebaek kimchi (turns out the owner is from Taebaek…🤣). Grilled up, it was so good.

Also, apparently if you've had a rough breakup or gotten fired within the last 3 days, they'll give you a free bottle of soju — just FYI…! Let's all be happy 🥹

Talisman wet wipes, aprons, and a mooing call bell

The wet wipes had cheerful talisman designs on them!! haha I picked the one for 'the whole universe helping me hit the jackpot.'

The aprons are something else too…? Hahaha I definitely came here to eat pork belly, but there were so many fun little details like this all over the place ㅠhaha. How was the 3 servings of pork belly

The 3 servings of pork belly arrived! Pretty generous portion, right? Since the pork belly is sliced thin, it browned up fast on the grill and had that savory pork flavor with a hint of char~ Thanks to the thinness, the edges got crispy while the center stayed juicy — great texture, haha.

We wrapped it up with the side dishes, and the meat itself was so good we just devoured it… Too busy eating to even take photos… Honestly, no exaggeration, this place nails both flavor and wit ㅠㅠ

Kimchi noodles as a palate cleanser

The kimchi noodles we ordered as a side had that tangy, cool kimchi flavor alive in the broth, paired with chewy noodles — perfect for cleansing the palate after all that meat. Subtly savory but clean and refreshing, it cut right through the greasiness of the pork belly with every slurp!

It was also great wrapped up with the meat, haha. Next time I visit, I'm ordering the same combo again, haha.
