Gongdeok bake shop, 7 madeleine flavors picked to go: Fluffy Bake Shop
In short
Fluffy Bake Shop is a takeout-focused baked goods shop on Baekbeom-ro 31-gil near Gongdeok Station in Mapo, Seoul. Dropping in on the way to an appointment, I picked 7 items — chestnut, chocolate, black sesame, vanilla and espresso pecan madeleines, a Nunettine financier and a canelé — priced 3,400 to 3,800 won, and got a vanilla canelé free through the receipt review event. With an unusually long madeleine list, Fluffy Bake Shop is an easy place to build a box around your own taste.

Fluffy Bake Shop, a baked goods spot near Gongdeok Station, has such a wide variety that picking your own is half the fun 🤎

I had an appointment in Gongdeok and it felt like a waste to just walk past, so I stopped by Fluffy Bake Shop!

I usually love small sweet baked goods like madeleines and financiers, and while looking for dessert spots near Gongdeok Station I found this place. They bake all sorts of pastries in-house, so it's worth a visit if you're into desserts :)

Where is Fluffy Bake Shop and what are its hours?
Fluffy Bake Shop is at 8 Baekbeom-ro 31an-gil, 2-dong Sangga Unit 106, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Weekday hours are 08:00-18:30, weekends 11:00-16:30, and parking is supported at the SK Readers View 2-danji underground lot. I visited in September 2026.
Weekday and weekend hours differ, so definitely check before you go! Also, I heard the popular baked goods can sell out if you visit later in the day.
Inside Fluffy Bake Shop: small, warm and built for takeout
Fluffy Bake Shop feels less like a café for sitting down and more like a small, takeout-focused bake shop.

The space itself is on the small side, but there are tables scattered around and the warm interior made it feel cozy. There were cute posters and props here and there too, so it was fun just to look around haha

How many kinds of baked goods does Fluffy Bake Shop have? 🤎
This was my favorite thing about Fluffy Bake Shop — just how many kinds of baked goods they have.

From madeleines to financiers, canelés, and even egg tarts and salt bread, there was plenty to choose from based on your taste.

The madeleine lineup especially was so varied that looking at the display case made me want to try one of each 💕 Chestnut madeleine, carrot madeleine, heart madeleine — some slightly unusual flavors caught my eye too.

The butter behind the madeleines and financiers
With baked goods, butter flavor often makes or breaks the taste. Fluffy Bake Shop uses AOP-certified Lescure butter from the Charentes-Poitou region of France. They clearly care about the rich, nutty flavor of good butter, and I really liked that about them 👍🏻

The pastries baked that same day were neatly displayed, which made choosing each one a little more fun.

Gift boxes at Fluffy Bake Shop: 4, 6 and 15 pieces
While picking out baked goods, the packaging caught my eye too. With 4-piece, 6-piece, and 15-piece boxes available, it looked like a great option for mixing flavors as a gift.

Even the shopping bags had pretty, clean colors, so this seems like a good option for anyone looking to give a light dessert gift. Eating them yourself is nice, but there's something extra satisfying about gifting pretty baked goods ☺️
The 7 baked goods I picked at Fluffy Bake Shop 🥐
That day I grabbed a bit of everything.
- Chestnut madeleine ₩3,700
- Chocolate madeleine ₩3,600
- Black sesame madeleine ₩3,600
- Vanilla madeleine ₩3,600
- Nunettine financier ₩3,800
- Espresso pecan madeleine ₩3,700
- Canelé ₩3,400

Having this many in my bag made me feel like a dessert millionaire, haha! The mood shifts with each madeleine flavor, so it was nice picking several to share.

Egg tarts and salt bread at Fluffy Bake Shop too
I went in only thinking about baked goods, but the refrigerated case also had egg tarts. You could see the layers of flaky pastry, and just looking at them made them seem crispy!

They also had salt bread, so if sweet desserts feel like too much, bread is a good option too. There's a range of drinks on the menu as well, so pairing a pastry with a drink seemed like a good plan.

How the receipt review event works: a free vanilla canelé
If you visit, check out the receipt review event too. Writing a review gets you a free vanilla canelé, and I made sure to grab mine haha!
