Do you all buy milk bread often when you don't feel like cooking at home, or just for a snack?! There's no decent bakery near my place, so I picked up bread from Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong, a milk bread bakery near Sinjung-dong, close to Gwangmyeong Sageori~~~

Where is Easy White Bread near Sinjung-dong Station, and what is the shop like?

Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong is a little ways from the station, so you have to round the corner of the building to find it. The white signage and interior made it easy to spot at a glance.

As soon as I got close to the shop, the smell of freshly baked bread pulled me in like a bloodhound, hahaha.

The dining area is small, only about one pyeong, so most people seem to take their bread to go?!

There was also bread out for tasting, so I got to try a bite, and the owner was so friendly!

What we ordered and what it cost: 13,000 won total

At Easy White Bread I ordered the walnut cranberry rye milk bread (₩7,500), one slice of Golden Beurre milk bread (₩1,500), and brewed coffee/special beans (₩4,000).

I usually like milk bread or plain, mild breads, so after some deliberation I ended up ordering the walnut cranberry rye milk bread, the Golden Beurre milk bread, and brewed coffee together. It came to about ₩13,000 total, which wasn't a stretch for a simple bread-and-coffee treat!

Walnut cranberry rye milk bread: chewy texture is the highlight

Personally, my favorite was the walnut cranberry rye milk bread!!

It's not just a soft milk bread — the walnuts and cranberries inside made the texture pretty fun to chew?!

The nuttiness of the walnuts paired with the subtle sweetness of the cranberries, so it wasn't bland even eaten plain. I especially liked that it had less of the usual dry, dense feel of milk bread and more of a chewy bite.

It was already chewy and good plain, but I also tried it toasted in the toaster. The outside got slightly crisp while the inside stayed chewy, giving it a whole different feel from eating it plain...!

Golden Beurre milk bread with jam for a weekend brunch

The Golden Beurre milk bread also had a nice chewy texture! Best of all, taking it home to eat with jam and coffee made it perfect for a weekend brunch.

How the brewed coffee (specialty beans) pairs with the bread

It felt like a waste to only take home bread, so I ordered Easy White Bread's brewed coffee too?! I expected a lot since it's called special beans, and the aroma turned out stronger and nuttier than I thought.

Since the bread is mild and nutty, it paired well with the coffee. Especially after a bite of the air-fryer-toasted bread followed by a sip of coffee — personally, that combo was just right!

Even with sweet jam spread on top, having coffee alongside kept the sweetness from feeling too much!

Final verdict on Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong

Easy White Bread, the bakery I tried this time in Bucheon Sinjung-dong, seems like a great fit for people who prefer the plain nuttiness and texture of milk bread over flashy, strongly flavored bread! I especially loved the texture of the walnut cranberry rye milk bread. With walnuts to chew and cranberries popping up here and there, it was far less boring than plain milk bread, and toasting it lightly in the air fryer brought out even more nuttiness!!

I love bread and try all kinds of things, and this time it made me want to try other breads from here next time!! If you're looking for a bakery in Bucheon Sinjung-dong, I'd recommend Easy White Bread. Next time I'll have to pick out some other kinds of bread to try~~
