With its black-toned, minimal and sleek exterior, this place is already a favorite among Seocho-dong office workers and bread lovers alike, thanks to its top-7% specialty beans roasted in-house and desserts baked fresh every morning.

The moment you step through the entrance, you're pulled away from noise and into an atmosphere where you can focus on the pure aroma of coffee. Instead of excessive decoration, it's filled with a modern, calm gray-and-black interior, making it a great spot to visit alone for a rest or to have a quiet conversation.

Especially in the roastery space set up behind the bar, the head roaster carefully manages and roasts the beans by hand, and the coffee aroma that fills the whole store is really wonderful.

There's a good range of coffee bean options too — 'Balance', an Ethiopian blend with a pleasant acidity and clean finish; 'Dunkel', a Central/South American blend with heavy, nutty dark chocolate notes; and 'Decaf' for enjoying coffee without the caffeine burden. Being able to choose beans to your taste made this feel like a café that's truly serious about both bakery and coffee.

There's a s'mores cookie with irresistibly stretchy marshmallow, a deep chocolate cookie with bittersweet cacao flavor, and hearty, nutty pistachio and green tea cookies, all ready to pick and choose to your taste.

They also have high-end gift box packaging that elegantly presents specialty drip bags and handmade cookies together, which is apparently very popular as a thoughtful snack gift set for VIPs or coworkers.

Freshly roasted, heavy espresso blends with rich, dense milk, and from the first sip, the distinct nutty richness and hearty finish of the latte fill your mouth — hands down the best part.
