Lunch starts with pre-meal bread

We visited for lunch, so the pre-meal bread came out first with a dipping sauce. Eating it while still warm, it was crispy outside and soft inside, and the sauce was sweet — really good.

The main dishes we ordered were the Spanish-style octopus steak (pulpo) and the signature paella✨
Spanish-style octopus steak (pulpo), 42,000 won

First up, the Spanish-style octopus steak😽 (about 300g of domestic raw octopus). It's a traditional Spanish octopus dish where the octopus is gently confit-cooked in olive oil, then baked once more in the oven together with French baby potatoes. Confit, they say, is a cooking method where octopus is slow-cooked at low temperature in olive oil with various spices for a long time, bringing out a tender texture. You dip the octopus and baby potatoes together in the olive oil to eat. Note that during the octopus fishing ban period from May 16 to June 30 (46 days), supply may be limited and it could temporarily sell out!

It's cut into bite-sized pieces like this,

and when you spear the olive-oil-soaked baby potato and octopus together with a fork and eat them in one bite, it tastes even better.
Signature paella at the 16,500 won lunch price

Next up is the signature paella🔥 It's the restaurant's representative paella, made with rice on a tomato sauce base topped with shrimp, egg yolk, olives, and green peas. The tomato sauce was sweet and tangy, and scraping up the crispy rice crust at the bottom with the serving spoon was savory and crunchy — really tasty><

They told us it's better not to mix the yolk in but instead to pop it and let it spread like a sauce, so I popped the yolk and ate it together with the plump shrimp and fluffy rice grains — it was rich and went really well together.
