Getting to Allegro from Songpanaru Station

Allegro is just a short walk from Exit 2 of Songpanaru Station 📍 It is in the same building as Glory, a popular kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant on the first floor, so it was not difficult to find 😊

Go into the building, take the elevator to the third floor, and Allegro is right there 🎷 Being close to Songpanaru Station also makes it a convenient spot for a Jamsil date or anniversary meal 💛

What are the opening hours?

Allegro's opening hours are 12:00–23:00 ⏰ Break time is 15:00–18:00 🌿 It is regularly closed every Tuesday 💛

A polished interior with a stage

As you would expect from a new hot spot, the interior was so neat, and it felt like real care had gone into the decor overall ✨ Every corner was prettily styled, so I immediately thought the atmosphere was lovely when I walked in 😊 There is a stage on one side, as you would expect at a live-music café, and the moment I saw it, I felt like I had come somewhere special rather than an ordinary restaurant 🎷 Since you can enjoy live jazz while dining, it is great for setting the mood for a Jamsil date or anniversary 💛

Lunch discounts and what I ordered

At lunch, you can have pasta for ₩16,000, and the whole menu is also 15% off, which looked like such great value 🍝 The evening live performance is appealing too, but lunch seems like a nice choice if you want to visit more casually 💛

Seafood salad ₩20,000

I started with the seafood salad, one of the signature dishes 🥗 It was generously piled with shrimp, octopus, and a variety of vegetables, so it looked abundant too 🦐

More than anything, the tangy dressing really woke up my appetite, and it suited my taste perfectly 😊 The seafood was easy to eat, and it passed as an appetizer that opens up your appetite before the main meal 💛

Mushroom cream potato gnocchi ₩24,000

The mushroom cream potato gnocchi was ₩24,000 🍄 There was plenty of cream sauce, so it was nice to coat each gnocchi generously in it 😋

Has anyone not tried potato gnocchi yet? 😊 It had a chewy yet soft texture that seemed to melt away in my mouth, and I really loved it 💛 If you like cream sauce, definitely give it a try at Allegro ✨

Sous-vide pork neck steak ₩33,000

I also ordered the sous-vide pork neck steak 🥩 It is a steak made with pork neck, served around medium-rare, so it was moist, tender, and easy to enjoy 😊 Adding the peppercorn sauce served alongside brought out the meat's flavor even more, and they went so well together ✨ The fries on the side came out hot and freshly fried, wonderfully crisp, and I kept reaching for them dipped in ketchup 🍟 It was a filling main dish with a different appeal from the gnocchi, so they were good to order together 💛

Jazz ambience that was lovely even before the performance

I visited before the live jazz performance began, so unfortunately I did not get to hear the actual show 🎷 As I was leaving after my meal, I quietly regretted not timing it just a little better so I could have heard the live jazz too 😅 Still, jazz music played throughout the meal at Allegro, so the atmosphere itself was more than lovely 🎶 It felt different from a typical Italian restaurant playing classical music, which made it even more special, and I thought it suited a Jamsil date really well 💛

Allegro, a great Italian restaurant in Jamsil, was satisfying as a date spot because both the food and the jazz-filled atmosphere were so nice 🎷 I enjoyed everything, from the seafood salad to the mushroom cream potato gnocchi and sous-vide pork neck steak 😋 I was disappointed to miss the live jazz performance this time, but next time I definitely want to return during the performance hours 💛 I recommend Allegro to anyone looking for a Jamsil date restaurant or a restaurant with a special atmosphere for an anniversary ✨
